Jayden Amir Watkins is an American Christian author, motivational speaker, licensed minister, podcast host, playwright, non-profit CEO, and visionary. Jayden was born on April 25th, 2008 in Henderson, North Carolina to Yamlet Foster and Eric Watkins along with his twin sister, Jaydah Watkins. Jayden started public speaking at the tender age of 9 in August 2017 when he gave his first sermon at Spring Street Missionary Baptist Church. Now he serves as a minister at Big Ruin Creek Missionary Baptist Church under the leadership of Pastor Charles Burwell. I remember times as a boy, hearing all the things that we were not to do or not to say. All of the restrictive areas being promoted for my learning. That was not bad in itself, but I believe children can benefit from also knowing the things that they can do and can say and be taught how to use these as catapults to maturity.

The Bible says in Matthew 19:14, But Jesus said, suffer little children, and forbid them not, to come unto me: for of such is the kingdom of heaven. In this verse, Jesus is helping his disciples realize that this is not the time to discourage anyone from participating in Heaven’s plan for humanity. He impresses upon them that children have a uniqueness about them and that is their genuine ability to express childlike faith and it is this quality that would define all mankind’s ability to operate in Kingdom principles. If a child is told by a parent that a new toy or other item is on the way, the child simply believes. Christ says that God’s Kingdom operates on simple faith. It is not measured by the size, but just by its genuineness and children have the ability to simply trust and believe.
