The God Ruled Church - Jermell Jamie Carter

    Introductory Word from The Lord

Heed the voice of the Lord your God, for I Am Holy, and My church is holy.

Reverence My word, My way, and My precepts, for I have declared My house, My church, and My body, as holy.  You are members of the body of Christ.  Heed My words church and be corrected and stand corrected before Me, says the Lord.

For I Am God and I have written these words for thee, for My church body and I have used My servants as instruments and tools before Me, says the Lord.

Heed the words of the Lord your God and pay attention, for I have come to rescue, straighten up, and cleanse My church.  For I, the Lord your God, Am ready to take My bride.  But, you My bride, are not ready for Me.  Cleanse yourselves and be purified before Me.  And, do not defile yourselves before Me any longer.

Heed the voice of My servants, for I have put My words in their mouths before Me.  For I Am God and I shall have you, My servants, leaders, and overseers, listen and adhere to Me.  For I shall cleanse My temple, top to bottom before thee, says the Lord.  For I have written this book as a warning to My church, to listen, to hear, to be corrected, and to learn.  Read My word, that I have sent forth on the earth.  My word has not changed and neither have I, listen to My word, so that you can be perfected and improved in My sight.

Heed the voice of the Lord your God.  For I Am holy and I Am blameless and My judgements are holy, righteous, and fair.  Heed the voice of the Lord your God.  For I have made My warnings in this book very clear.  Listen unto Me and hear from Me, I Am not a distant God.  For I stand right beside thee.

Heed My voice and adhere to My words.  For My church must be cleansed and beautified.  For I will have My God Ruled Church, saith the Lord.  Amen, says the Lord, Amen.  Be corrected, improved, and filled with joy, saith the Lord, Amen.

    Chapter 1: Belief

    1.1 Who is God?

God is the Reigning Supreme Being.  He is, always was, and will forever be the Great I AM.  For even Moses asked God, who should he say sent him to deliver the children of Israel from Egypt, And God said to Moses, I AM WHO I AM. And He said, Thus you shall say to the children of Israel, ‘I AM has sent me to you.’ (Exodus 3:14).

Moreover God said to Moses, Thus you shall say to the children of Israel: ‘The LORD God of your fathers, the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob, has sent me to you. This is My name forever, and this is My memorial to all generations.’"

    Exodus 3:15 NKJV

We know God Almighty as the Creator of all, for so He has done from the beginning, speaking life into existence with His divine power.  In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth (Genesis 1:1).

God is a powerful, omnipotent, omnipresent, and wise Creator of the universe and the Creator of mankind.  God sits upon the high place of His throne and looks low upon the earth, we are His special treasure upon the earth, for it is His footstool (Matthew 5:35).

For God created man in His own image according to His likeness (Genesis 1:26).  No other living creature upon the earth was created in God’s own image and likeness.

Therefore, as self-proclaimed wise men determine to reason among themselves, how we as mankind came to be, it was the Great I Am, God Almighty, who spoke human beings into existence.

For God saw everything that He had made, and indeed it was very good (Genesis 1:31).

Determining that we are descendants of any creature upon the earth that God has given us, His people, dominion and authority to rule and reign over, is a deception from the enemy.

The enemy is that serpent of old, called the devil and satan, who deceives the whole world (Revelation 12:9).

The enemy is a liar and the father of it (John 8:44).  For the enemy comes to steal, and to kill, and to destroy (John 10:10).

The enemy seeks to minimize and diminish the significance of mankind, God’s people, to relegate us into being something less, than who God has called us to be.  For we are more than conquerors through Him who loved us (Romans 8:37).

We are God’s people, His children, so we must remember that nothing is to consume so much of our time, gifts, or talents.  We are not to be distracted or deceived into taking our eyes off of God, not remembering who He is and the glory that He is due.  And you shall remember the Lord your God (Deuteronomy 8:18).

Let everything that has breath praise the Lord. Praise the Lord (Psalms 150:6).

Now to the King eternal, immortal, invisible, to God who alone is wise, be honor and glory forever and ever (I Timothy 1:17).

Remember to magnify His work, Of which men have sung (Job 36:24).  Remember to Remember the Lord our God.

Ah, Lord GOD! Behold, You have made the heavens and the earth by Your great power and outstretched arm. There is nothing too hard for You. You show lovingkindness to thousands, and repay the iniquity of the fathers into the bosom of their children after them—the Great, the Mighty God, whose name is the LORD of hosts. You are great in counsel and mighty in work, for Your eyes are open to all the ways of the sons of men, to give everyone according to his ways and according to the fruit of his doings.

    Jeremiah 32:17-19 NKJV

God is all seeing, all knowing, and all powerful.  He is omnipotent, able to do anything, and omnipresent, able to be everywhere at the same time (Revelation 19:6).

His strength and His wisdom are indescribable.  Yet, at the same time He is able to love in such a supernatural capacity that is a wonderment to man.  The Bible says that God is love (I John 4:8).

1.2 Who is the Word of God?

In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. He was in the beginning with God. All things were made through Him, and without Him nothing was made that was made. In Him was life, and the life was the light of men.

And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us, and we beheld His glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father, full of grace and truth.

    John 1:1-4, 14 NKJV

Jesus Christ is the Word of God.  He was established in the beginning by God and became flesh and stands now as the Son of the One True Living God.

    1.3 What Do We Believe?

We believe that Jesus is the Son of God.  And through Him, we have access to the Father.  Jesus said, If you have known Me, you would have known My Father also; from now on you know Him and have seen Him (John 14:7).

Because of Jesus, we have the ability to communicate to the Father directly.  In the Old Testament, this direct access was designated to the priest, who served God only.

Jesus is our direct link and direct access to Abba Father.  Insomuch as without Jesus, we do not have access to the Father.  For Jesus said:

I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me.

    John 14:6 NKJV

    1.4 Why Was Jesus Sent?

Believing in the Son of God is a choice.  We either choose to believe, which leads to everlasting life or not to believe, which leads to eternal damnation.  Jesus did not come into the world to condemn but to save.

Those who choose not to believe have already condemned themselves for having not received the only begotten Son of God, for it was God who chose His Son for the purpose of saving the world though Him (John 3:14-18).

Jesus was sent to expose all the powers of darkness and those who loved to walk in darkness.

And this is the condemnation, that the light has come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil. For everyone practicing evil hates the light and does not come to the light, lest his deeds should be exposed. But he who does the truth comes to the light, that his deeds may be clearly seen, that they have been done in God.

    John 3:19-21 NKJV

Jesus is the word of truth (John 17:17).  For the Bible says that He is the way, the truth, and the life (John 14:6).  Jesus is the light of the world (John 8:12, 9:5).

    1.5 Do We Believe Miracles?

Miracle: a surprising and welcome event that is not explicable by natural or scientific laws and is therefore considered to be the work of a divine agency. (Ref: New Oxford American Dictionary.)

Miracles or supernatural phenomena were performed all throughout the Bible.  Miracles have been and continue to be, a way for God to demonstrate His awesome power and greatness before man.

God performed many great and mighty signs, miracles, and wonders for and through many men, women, prophets, and priests throughout the Bible.

The Old and New Testament of the Bible are filled with mighty miracles; wherein demonstrations were evident when God performed His word, manifesting His promises, provision, and blessings amongst men.

The creation story in Genesis 1, emphasizing how God formed the universe, is a miracle in of itself.  The performing of miracles was the center point of Jesus’ ministry on the earth.

For Jesus said, Believe Me that I am in the Father and the Father in Me, or else believe Me for the sake of the works themselves (John 14:11).

The works that He performed, would later include the greater works of His disciples and those who believe in the truth of God through our Lord Jesus Christ.

Most assuredly, I say to you, he who believes in Me, the works that I do he will do also; and greater works than these he will do, because I go to My Father. And whatever you ask in My name, that I will do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you ask anything in My name, I will do it.

    John 14:12-14 NKJV

Miracles glorify Jesus, they were performed for the glory of God, that the Son of God may be glorified through it (John 11:4).

Interestingly enough, the first miracle performed by Jesus was something that might be considered carnal and of the flesh, turning water into wine.  Jesus was asked by His mother Mary, to provide more wine at a wedding (John 2:1-9).

The Bible says that many of His disciples believed in Him, once this miracle was performed.  This was in fact, just the beginning of the miracles, signs, and wonders of Jesus, the Son of God and His ministry (John 2:11).

Jesus performed this miracle at the request of man, specifically His mother, but like all miracles at the time, it was performed for the sake of all men, so that they would believe that He is the Son of God.  Jesus’ miracles witnessed to all men and brought them assurance in knowing in whom they should have belief.

However, the wedding was counted as a joyous occasion and the servants who set out the wine knew the supernatural miracle that took place.  This miracle of turning water into wine was significant, so that people would believe in the Son of God (John 2:9).

The outcome of the miracle was so good that the master of the feast exclaimed, Every man at the beginning sets out the good wine, and when the guests have well drunk, then the inferior. You have kept the good wine until now! (John 2:10).

Mary, the mother of Jesus, believed that her Son could do anything.  Jesus constantly reminded those around Him, that He was sent to be about the Father’s business (Luke 2:49 / John 2:4).

The miracles performed by Jesus increased with great passionate intent over a short period of time.  Each miracle was significant, yet the magnitude and impossibility that surrounded each miracle increased.  Jesus’ disciples believed in Him after He performed what could be considered a small miracle, in comparison to other miracles, by turning water into wine.

All miracles performed, though small or great, achieved a similar outcome, to stretch people’s belief in Jesus, the only begotten Son of God.

The disciple’s faith and belief in Jesus would increase in measure upon measure, as they saw Jesus do everything from giving sight to the blind, to bringing those who had passed back to life.

The miracles were performed for the Father’s glory, but also to help build His disciple’s faith.  For in it the righteousness of God is revealed from faith to faith (Romans 1:17).

As it is written, The just shall live by faith (Romans 1:17).

God the Father looked to glorify Himself and glorify His Son through the powerful signs, miracles, and wonders performed by Jesus, so that many would see and believe (John 2:23).

Just as Jesus spoke about His coming time, ‘Father, glorify Your name. Then a voice came from heaven, saying, I have both glorified it and will glorify it again(John 12:28).

For the Father did not spare His own Son but delivered Him up for us all (Romans 8:32).

So, we as God’s people, having been given all from the Father, received a glimpse of God’s love for His people.  For it pleased the Father to offer up His only Son for crucifixion.  Then, how shall He not with Him also freely give us all things? (Romans 8:32).

As the Lord’s elect, It is God who justifies (Romans 8:33).

We do not need to look to the world for validation of blessings that come from God.  Through the name of Jesus, the Father is glorified, and He glorifies His son.

God Himself validates His blessings.  It is God who justifies His elect and finds us worthy to receive all things from Him, including signs, miracles, and wonders.  For it is written, whom He predestined, these He also called: whom He called, these He also justified; and whom He justified, these He also glorified (Romans 8:30), all to the Father’s glory.

Jesus spoke these words, lifted up His eyes to heaven, and said: Father, the hour has come. Glorify Your Son, that Your Son also may glorify You, as You have given Him authority over all flesh, that He should give eternal life to as many as You have given Him. And this is eternal life, that they may know You, the only true God, and Jesus Christ whom You have sent. I have glorified You on the earth. I have finished the work which You have given Me to do. And now, O Father, glorify Me together with Yourself, with the glory which I had with You before the world was.

    John 17:1-5 NKJV

The miracles performed throughout the ministry of Jesus were an example of how the power of God was to be implemented throughout the world.  Jesus Himself states, Unless you people see signs and wonders, you will by no means believe (John 4:48).

Jesus knew what was in man (John 2:25).

He knew that men would not believe unless they saw miracles performed in His ministry on the earth.  The gospel was commanded to be preached to every creature (The Great Commission).

For the same power that raised Jesus from the dead is the same power that works in our mortal bodies (Holy Spirit).  For we as believers in Jesus Christ, are encouraged to perform greater works (signs) (John 14:12).

Apostle Paul operated in unusual miracles (Acts 19:11).

The Bible says that even handkerchiefs or aprons were brought from his body to the sick, and the diseases left them, and the evil spirits went out of them (Acts 19:12).

As Paul moved about on the earth, sharing the gospel of Jesus Christ the word of the Lord grew mightily and prevailed (Acts 19:20).

The body of Christ is encouraged by Jesus, to operate in miracles.  Miracles are a testimony of God’s goodness and a sign of His mighty power.

    1.6 Belief vs Opinion

Belief is not an opinion.  Opinions are usually subjective, changing with the wind and are subject to a person’s emotional state.  Belief is grounded in moral conviction, belief can define a person’s whole existence, whether good or bad; right or wrong.  As children of God, we know in whom we have belief, so our moral conviction should not ever sway from what we know to be true.  As Apostle Paul said, I am not ashamed, for I know whom I have believed and am persuaded (II Timothy 1:12).

There are many whom are easily swayed away, in what they have believed, whether by ignorance, deception, or some other thing.  These types of individuals are convinced that they have belief, but in actuality have been subjected to opinion masquerading as belief.  That is why some people easily flip-flop on what they choose to believe, because as the word says, they have no root in the foundation of what should be the basis for our belief, which is in Christ and His word.

Therefore hear the parable of the sower: When anyone hears the word of the kingdom, and does not understand it, then the wicked one comes and snatches away what was sown in his heart. This is he who received seed by the wayside. But he who received the seed on stony places, this is he who hears the word and immediately receives it with joy; yet he has no root in himself, but endures only for a while. For when tribulation or persecution arises because of the word, immediately he stumbles. Now he who received seed among the thorns is he who hears the word, and the cares of this world and the deceitfulness of riches choke the word, and he becomes unfruitful. But he who received seed on the good ground is he who hears the word and understands it, who indeed bears fruit and produces: some a hundredfold, some sixty, some thirty.

    Matthew 13:18-23 NKJV

Belief is defined as the acceptance of a statement being true or that something exists.  What we believe as the chosen of God is founded and grounded 100% in God’s word, which comes from the Bible.

The word of God is the Word of Truth.  God’s word does not change.  Jesus is the Word of God (John 1:14) and He is the same, yesterday, today, and forever (Hebrews 13:8).

For it is good that the heart be established by grace, not with foods which have not profited those who have been occupied with them (Hebrews 13:9).

The food that the scripture references, is food that will not be nourishing to the spirit.  The word of God gives nourishment to the spirit, with love, truth, knowledge, and wisdom.  So remember to remember that all things opposite of God comes from the enemy.

The word of God commands us, Do not be carried about with various and strange doctrines (Hebrews 13:9).

Strange doctrine is founded in opinion, in the tall tales of men who themselves were victims to the enemy and his deceptive practices.  For this reason, strange doctrines teach and preach bondage to God’s people, for that is the aim of the enemy; be it control, manipulation or the like, leading to sin and perishing in sin.

Therefore, strange doctrines cannot be and are not grounded in the word of God.  Strange doctrines may at times use the word of God to set its base because it has no power on its own, likened to how evil spirits need each other and more of themselves in order to subdue a man.  Do you not know, O man, has He not shown you that we are children of God, not of the flesh but of the Spirit (Romans 8:12-17)?

We as God’s chosen are set apart from the world, not to be subdued by it with its evil desire.  For the word of God commands us, Do not be deceived: Evil company corrupts good habits" (I Corinthians 15:33).  So do not chase after strange doctrines and all of its folly.

"But even if we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel to you than what we have preached to you, let him be accursed. As we have said before, so now I say again, if anyone preaches any other gospel to you than what you
