It wasn't enough that Lorene had to deal with a shit-heel of a husband but she also had to have more drama? I wanted her to have a nice pleasant romance and find herself and a fairly smooth transition to being treated badly to being treated like the treasure she was but no, she gets heaped with drama. If I had been her I would have rented another house and moved her mother there or run away to Bath for a break and the waters.
