Seek for the Ancient Paths

"So, why is it so important to minister the Jewish roots to the Church?" I asked the Lord. "It's a matter of life and death." He replied. "The Church has been like a beautiful rose, cut off from her garden. She has been in a vase with water for two days, but on the third day, if she is not replanted back

    Early Messianic Symbol

This sign has been found on pottery and walls of what is believed to be the meeting rooms in Jerusalem of second-century believers in Yeshua. During archaeological excavations in recent years, this symbol (with variations) has been found repeatedly.

Experts now feel that it was a sign of unity between the Jewish believers and their Christian brethren in the rest of the Roman Empire. It has been suggested that it was also a secret symbol of identification in times of persecution.

    Acknowledgments

First, I would like to give thanks to the God of Israel who did not spare His own Son so that I might be reconciled with Him and with my roots as a Jew. He alone has made me whole and has given me the ability to write and the power to love.

I also want to thank my beloved husband, Baruch. His encouragement and enthusiasm and practical help have been a constant source of strength.

Finally, I would like to thank Max and Erika Stickel from Switzerland, who compelled me to stay and write while they took care of my every need.

Thank you for eternity!—Archbishop Dr. Dominiquae Bierman

    Dear Reader

I hope that the Lord will speak to you through this book. I am fully aware that there is a lot more to say about this important subject. I do not presume to have the last word about it. I do not even presume that I am a hundred percent theologically correct. I believe that is reserved for the Holy Spirit alone, as He is our teacher. My purpose in writing this book is to be a vessel of God’s truth and healing, as we all watch the most amazing restoration of all times happen before our very eyes, that is, the restoration of Israel. As you read, you will know that you are grafted into Israel and that you are a very important part of this restoration. A new reformation is knocking at the doors of the church. Some will tend to resist it. My prayer is that this book will be a tool in God’s hands to facilitate our yielding to this new move of restoration, back to our roots.

For His glory, your friend and His Archbishop,

    —Dr. Dominiquae Bierman

It is the glory of God to conceal a matter, but the glory of kings is to search out a matter.

    Proverbs 25:2

    But you are a chosen race, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people for God’s own possession, so that you may proclaim the excellencies of Him who has called you out of darkness into His marvelous light;

    1 Peter 2:9

For I do not want you, brethren, to be uninformed of this mystery—so that you will not be wise in your own estimation—that a partial hardening has happened to Israel until the fullness of the Gentiles has come in; and so all Israel will be saved; just as it is written, The Deliverer will come from Zion, He will remove ungodliness from Jacob.

    Romans 11:25-26

The glory which You have given Me I have given to them, that they may be one, just as We are one; I in them and You in Me, that they may be perfected in unity, so that the world may know that You sent Me, and loved them, even as You have loved Me.

    John 17: 22-23

"And you, son of man, take for yourself one stick and write on it, ‘For Judah and for the sons of Israel, his companions’; then take another stick and write on it, ‘For Joseph, the stick of Ephraim and all the house of Israel, his companions.’ Then join them for yourself one to another into one stick, that they may become one in your hand.

    Ezekiel 37:16-17

My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge. Because you have rejected knowledge, I also will reject you from being My priest. Since you have forgotten the law of your God, I also will forget your children.

    A Killing Arrogance

Do not be arrogant toward the branches; but if you are arrogant, remember that it is not you who supports the root, but the root supports you… For if God did not spare the natural branches, neither will He spare you…

    Romans 11:18,21

So, what’s the ‘big deal’ of ministering the ‘roots’ to the church?" I asked the Holy Spirit of God while onboard the El Al flight from Zurich to Tel Aviv. I wanted to understand the purpose of traveling to so many nations – God, what are you saying?

Still very vivid in my mind were the testimonies of miraculous healings and deliverances that were shared after we finished our first Back to the Roots seminar in Herisau, Switzerland. Hanspeter and Anita Vogt had welcomed us, and all the Jews, with open arms.

The church needs to repent, they said.

One of the testimonies shared by a young woman was very touching.

I had mental problems, she said, "l could not find my identity. They had cast many demons out of me, but I never got free. As you explained about the roots
