New life. New semester.

Here goes nothing, Kaden thought, planting one shapely leg in front of the other and towing his luggage up the walk. Two months had passed, and still he wasn’t familiarized to all the jiggling. Having so much pendulous mass made walking seem like an assault on his clothes, and sometimes he worried if they could handle the push-and-pull abuse.

Cornerstone University wasn’t fresh territory. He’d seen the entrance to the boys’ dormitory a hundred times, if not a thousand. But that was last semester. This autumn, Kaden was a little less qualified—or more unqualified, depending on the specific body parts—to be rooming with a bunch of horny guys. So, the girls’ dormitory it was! Kaden sighed. Still, he figured his chances of privacy and respect were better inside the girls’ dormitory regardless. He couldn’t imagine the reactions of the male students when a curvaceous woman of color bunked in their domain.

He headed on inside and climbed the stairs to the second floor.
