“Can I come in?” he asked.
She nodded before stepping aside to let him in.
“Now what is it that you wanted to show me?” he asked with his back to her.
He hadn’t wanted anyone as much as he wanted her then.

    Erotic Night - Rod Polo

His First Night with Girlfriend’s Sister

I had been seeing my girlfriend Lucille since our college years. Now eleven years into our relationship, everything was as great as it had been in the beginning. We were basically best friends now and partners in everything.

With this in mind, it was hard to figure out why I would risk all this for a fling with another woman. Let alone her own sister. Looking back I realize now that it was the dumbest thing I had ever done. It was a good thing she never found out or else I would have lost the thing that meant the most to me, my relationship.

Lucille and I had just decided to move in together. After eleven years of dating, we figured that it was about time. We found a house close enough to where both of us worked so neither of us would be at a disadvantage.

This was a big decision for Lucille and I. Neither of us believed in marriage so this was as serious as it could ever get for the both of us. However, we didn’t seem to think twice about it. We’d been with each other long enough to know that we wanted to be together forever, or however long this lasted.

A week into living together and I realized that this was going to be harder than we thought. We were finding out new things about each other that we didn’t even know we liked. It was strange that we could be together for eleven years and still be surprised by each other's living habits.

It was while we were still trying to adapt to our new situation when we had our first guest. Aida, Lucille’s sister had just moved into town and needed a place to stay while she searched for a job.

Looking back on it now, I realize that it was the worst time to have a guest. We were still trying to get used to a new situation and needed all the time we could get. It didn’t help that Lucille hadn’t spoken to her sister in years. She had an unfortunate relationship with both her parents and sister and had avoided them for years.

When Aida had approached Lucille for help, she hadn’t wanted to let her stay at our place. In fact, I had to convince her that it would be best to bury the hatchet in order to have a functional relationship with her sister. With what I know now, it would have been best for me not to interfere.

I don’t know why you won’t let her stay with us, I had asked one night after dinner. She had just told me that her sister Aida had moved into town.

Because I don’t like her, she had said dismissively.

You can’t just say you don’t like her. She’s your sister, I insisted.

    She’s a sneaky little witch.

    She is? I asked.

I was a little taken aback. Lucille never cursed. Not even when it was mild. She was such a sweet person. To hear her insult her sister no matter how small the insult was strange.

I don’t want to talk about this anymore? she said in defeat as she threw herself on he couch.

Normally, this would be the point where I would walk away. However, I couldn’t let this go. I had to know what Aida had done to deserve this side of Lucille. A side I hardly ever saw even when we had our worst fights. I took a seat next to her and brushed her red hair away from her face.

What happened between you guys? I asked gently.

I said I don’t want to talk about it, she said firmly.

Well I’m not leaving till we do, I replied. She wasn’t getting rid of me easily.

    Adam...

You might as well tell me Lucille. I’m not letting you deal with this alone,

Fine, she said letting out a deep breath.

I took her hand to help her through what she was going to say next.

She slept with my boyfriend, she said briefly.

    Woah.

I know it was years ago but I don’t think I can ever get over it. I mean, how could she do that to me. She’s my sister. She’s supposed to have my back.

    I didn’t know....

Was it not enough for her that she was everyone’s favourite. Our parents liked her more, she was popular, she’s prettier than me...

    I...

And you know what my parents said when I told them about it?

What did they say? I asked glad that I was finally able to get a sentence out.

That it didn’t matter and I should get over it because she was my only sibling.

    That sucks.

I know right. Why didn’t she put my feelings into consideration when she went around my back with my boyfriend.

Lucille went on rambling about how her sister had hurt her
