When it comes to strange murder cases, the story of Christina Resch Boyer surely tops that list. She was a troubled foster child that became well known in Columbus, Ohio when unexplainable occurrences started happening in her household. Christina was only fourteen when her supposed psychokinetic abilities reached the headlines all over the country. The entire nation was interested in the phenomenon, and many believed that she truly possessed these powers.
But eventually, her claims were debunked, and she fell into the vicious cycle of dating wrong men. Her life was never easy, but she did get a break when she reconnected with parapsychologist William Roll who was interested in her case back in the 1980s. She was heading in the right direction and was looking forward to rebuilding her life with her daughter by her side. But, the girl was brutally murdered in 1992, and Christina Resch Boyer was the prime suspect. But was she really the one who caused harm to her little girl? Or is an innocent woman locked away behind the bars?

Joan and John were strict and had a specific set of rules that was supposed to be followed by each and every member of their family. They didn’t hesitate to discipline the children in a physical way and would sometimes hit them if they misbehaved.
But the times were different back then, and this type of parenting didn’t raise any red flags among the neighbors or other family members. Foster children did come from different backgrounds, and many of them had a rough childhood, so the Reschs thought they simply had no choice when a situation got out of hand. Unfortunately for Christina, she had a temper and would often scream loudly when agitated.
Not to forget that she would raise her voice on a daily basis which didn’t sit well with Joan. Since she was the mother, Joan was supposed to take care of the girl. It was easy when Christina was just a small girl, but once she entered puberty, John
