Praise be to God the Father, the Almighty One, God of all, and our Lord Jesus Christ, who gave me the capacity to do His will. As I know myself, I am nothing apart from Him; all that is successfully achieved is done by Him.

Also, I would like to acknowledge and express my gratitude to my family, who perform on my behalf things such as housework and allow me to be fully committed to the project, also fulfilling whatever I need for the completion of the work. Especially my beloved spouse Kassech Ayane, who had a lot of burdens, working day and night to overcome the challenges ahead of us. So, I bless you—may God increase His peace and grace upon you abundantly.

I give thanks to my children, who have held my right hand and enabled me to achieve my responsibility to the end. And so, I give glory to God for the mutual understanding He has given us.

And I would also bless my brothers and sisters who earnestly and wholeheartedly prayed for me—God bless you and your ministry.

Also, Pastor Laurel Balyeat Morrison, who is a pastor at First Baptist Church of Alameda. Although she had a lot of work, she received my request and committed herself to the editing of the manuscript and achieved it appropriately. She put an unforgettable fingerprint on the I Value My Dream Handbook Study. I would like to say, may God Almighty provide you whatever you need, abundantly. Praise be to God; unless and otherwise He intervenes, nothing can be done.

I wish to give gratitude and say God bless you to Pastor Aaron of the First Baptist Church of Alameda, and the board committee, who shared my burden and gave me service rooms for Bible study and a weekly Sunday worshiping center—this facility makes a conducive environment and enables me to run my vision.

    Preface

The reason I have prepared this Study Handbook that focuses on the Book of Revelation is because of the dream that I had. The title of my handbook study is I Value My Dream. The Book of Revelation is the book of the end times, and it is a colorful prophesy. It takes time and patience to understand the mysteries of the book and its apocalyptic writing style. I took time to read and process this last book of the Bible before I proceeded to the second step. Then I prepared this handbook to be easily read and better understood for everyone interested in growing spiritually.

While I prepared the text, I was only assisted by related scriptures in order to keep the original message of the book. My only aim is to make a bridge so that anyone can easily reach the targeted destination. Blessed is the one who reads aloud the words of this prophecy, and blessed are those who hear, and keep what is written in it, for the time is near (Rev. 1:1-3 KJV). I needed the Lord’s guidance to make a good work for the next generations. I would like to give gratitude to my Lord, who entrusted and gave me the strength to do this.

    Author’s Dream

In a most important and prophetic dream, I saw a threshing floor, and there was a mound of wheat in a circle; some wheat had been threshed, and some piled around the threshing floor. The farmer’s intention was to separate the wheat and reduce the chaff. When he stood up and waited for the wind to come, the wind started to blow, and at the same time he began whirling. In the meantime, then the chaff and wheat went to the other side of threshing floor together instead of separating, and the wheat fell on the ground. The farmer’s intention was for the wheat to fall on the threshing floor, and the chaff would have fallen on the other side, outside the threshing floor. But except for a few grains, almost all of the wheat went outside the threshing floor with the chaff.

What is the root cause of these problems?

The wheat had no weight to withstand the wind, because it was drought-stricken and had other problems that stopped it from reaching its full size. As a result, the wheat lacked weight.

    INTERPRETATION OF THE DREAM

    (MATT. 13:1-7)

The wheat piled around the threshing floor and in the threshing floor both indicate HARVEST SEASON.

The wind is the tribulation to come, to separate the true Christians.

The piled wheat: all born-again Christians in the church.

The farmer is the Almighty God (John 15:1).

The weight loss of the wheat indicates Christians who do not eat the bread of life appropriately; because they have no time to nourish their life, they don’t exercise a real Christian life, and they don’t take time to read, meditate, and pray; as a result, they don’t grow spiritually and show no true love for Jesus and cannot be the light of the world.

These people can’t prevail in the tribulation to come, so they might be taken by the winds of tribulation.

Matt. 24:37-39 (NIV); Like the time of Noah:

As it was in the days of Noah, so it will be at the coming of the Son of Man. For in the days before the flood, people were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, up to the day Noah entered the ark; they knew nothing about what would happen until the flood came and took them all away.

This is what greatly motivated me to start to submit myself to God’s purpose, to accept my responsibility.

Since then, even though I noticed the purpose of God, I did not submit myself to the vision, because it was vague for me. Where would I start? What must I do? I had no idea how, where, or when to start. Even though I was dead sure that God was planning to perform His purpose in me, it looked like something that was blurred, not crystal clear. After I got the clear vision, beyond the preparation of the Study Book of Revelation, I prepared another book called Armor of a Generation. In the near future, it will be published.

For this blessing of a job, I would like to say thank you to my friend Mesfin Gurmu, who inspired me repeatedly to publish a book and to impart the grace of God in me to others. Even though the Holy Spirit influenced me to perform an unusual work in my life, I did not go forward with the vision.

This handbook may facilitate the reading and understanding of these verses. I hope it can help create good understanding for the reader and motivate their life and eternal calling.

To be able to understand Revelation, I suggest that it is appropriate to study Matthew, chapter 24 through the end, Luke 21:5-19, Mark 13:1-13, and other
