    DEDICATION

All Scripture quotations in this project are taken from The Holy Bible, King James Version.

This book is written for the benefit of Christians or anybody for that matter that wants to know how to pray and find prayers and prophetic messages in the Bible easily.

This book is dedicated to my wife, my Soulmate Dr. Bose I. Ojo MD, DC; My four wonderful children and five grandchildren, plus the others on the way. I want to thank my brothers in Christ, Pastor Solomon Akharamen, Pastor Samuel Adeyemi, Brother Ben Akhuemokhan, Evangelist Emeka Muorah, and my spiritual son, Evangelist Nwanchukwu Anazodo. Chuck, thanks for being a great son. Thanks for your encouragement and prayers. To Pastor Steve Banning of Braeswood Assembly of GOD, Houston, Texas, my home church.

    ACKNOWLEDGEMENTS

I want to acknowledge the Holy Spirit for what HE did by prompting me to start this project. I have read the Holy Bible about five to six times, from Genesis to Revelation, over the years. Each verse that I read, maybe a year or so ago, gives me a deeper meaning another time. Each time you read the Bible, you always get a deeper and different meaning, according to how and what the Holy Spirit wants to tell you. I say the Bible bleeds, and it is alive. With technology and the Bible app, which I didn’t like to use initially because I was not comfortable or used to reading without a marker or pen in my hand, I had issues. I then found out that I could use different colors to mark the Bible in the app. Thanks to the Holy Spirit because I was getting exasperated. I continued to read it as usual. Then the Holy Spirit directed me to start all over again in the app because I was already marking promises, prophecies, prayers, and commandment verses in the Bible. I did not know where He was leading me at that time. So I had to go back from Genesis to make sure I marked which was a prayer or a prophecy verse with different colors. I will not forget how He woke me up in the middle of the night one time. I had stopped the writing/ marking for some time, even though I still read my regular paper Bible. That was the day I finally knew this is a project that God wanted me to do.

As you go through this Book, I pray the Holy Spirit will connect you to the throne of Grace in Jesus’ name.

    PRAYERS IN GENESIS 6

    1. Abraham for an heir (Genesis 15:2-3)

[2] And Abram said, Lord GOD, what wilt thou give me, seeing I go childless, and the steward of my house is this Eliezer of Damascus? [3] And Abram said, Behold, to me thou hast given no seed: and, lo, one born in my house is mine heir.

    2. Abraham for Ishmael to be his heir (Genesis 17: 17-18)

[17] Then Abraham fell upon his face, and laughed, and said in his heart, Shall a child be born unto him that is an hundred years old? and shall Sarah, that is ninety years old, bear? [18] And Abraham said unto God, O that Ishmael might live before thee!

    3. Abraham for Sodom to be spared if ten persons were righteous (Genesis 18:23-32)

[23] And Abraham drew near, and said, Wilt thou also destroy the righteous with the wicked? [24] Peradventure there be fifty righteous within the city: wilt thou also destroy and not spare the place for the fifty righteous that are therein? [25] That be far from thee to do after this manner, to slay the righteous with the wicked: and that the righteous should be as the wicked, that be far from thee: Shall not the Judge of all the earth do right? [26] And the Lord said, If I find in Sodom fifty righteous within the city, then I will spare all the place for their sakes. [27] And Abraham answered and said, Behold now, I have taken upon me to speak unto the Lord, which am but dust and ashes: [28] Peradventure there shall lack five of the fifty righteous: wilt thou destroy all the city for lack of five? And he said, If I find there forty and five, I will not destroy it. [29] And he spake unto him yet again, and said, Peradventure there shall be forty found there. And he said, I will not do it for forty’ sake . [30] And he said unto him, Oh let not the Lord be angry, and I will speak: Peradventure there shall thirty be found there. And he said, I will not do it, if I find thirty there. [31] And he said, Behold now, I have taken upon me to speak unto the Lord: Peradventure there shall be twenty found there. And he said, I will not destroy it for twenty’s sake. [32] And he said, Oh let not the Lord be angry, and I will speak yet but this once: Peradventure ten shall be found there. And he said, I will not destroy it for ten’ s sake.

    4. Eliezer, steward of Abraham, for a bride for Isaac (Genesis 24:12-14)

[12] And he said, O LORD God of my master Abraham, I pray thee, send me good speed this day, and shew kindness unto my master Abraham. [13] Behold, I stand here by the well of water; and the daughters of the men of the city come out to draw water: [14] And let it come to pass, that the damsel to whom I shall say, Let down thy pitcher, I pray thee, that I may drink; and she shall say, Drink, and I will give thy camels drink also: let the same be she that thou hast appointed for thy servant Isaac; and thereby shall I know that thou hast shewed kindness unto my master.

    5. Jacob for a blessing (Genesis 28:20-22)

[20] And Jacob vowed a vow, saying, If God will be with me, and will keep me in this way that I go, and will give me bread to eat, and raiment to put on, [21] So that I come again to my father’s house in peace; then shall the LORD be my God: [22] And this stone, which I have set for a pillar, shall be God’ s house: and of all that thou shalt give me I will surely give the tenth unto thee.

    6. Jacob for deliverance from Esau (Genesis 32:9-12)

[9] And Jacob said, O God of my father Abraham, and God of my father Isaac, the LORD which saidst unto me, Return unto thy country, and to thy kindred, and I will deal well with thee: [10] I am not worthy of the least of all the mercies, and of all the truth, which thou hast shewed unto thy servant; for with my staff I passed over this Jordan; and now I am become two bands. [11] Deliver me, I pray thee, from the hand of my brother, from the hand of Esau: for I fear him, lest he will come and smite me, and the mother with the children. [12] And thou saidst, I will surely do thee good, and make thy seed as the sand of the sea, which cannot be numbered for multitude.

    PRAYERS IN EXODUS:5

    1. Moses for Aaron, his older brother, to go with him (Exodus 4:-13)

[13] And he said, O my Lord, send, I pray thee, by the hand of him whom thou wilt send.

    2. Moses in complaint to JEHOVAH for not delivering the Israelites (Exodus 5:22-23)

[22] And Moses returned unto the Lord, and said, Lord, wherefore hast thou so evil entreated this people? why is it that thou hast sent me? [23] For since I came to Pharaoh to speak in thy name, he hath done evil to this people; neither hast thou delivered thy people at all.

    3. Moses for forgiveness for the Israelites (Exodus 32:31-32)

[31] And Moses returned unto the LORD, and said, Oh, this people have sinned a great sin, and have made them gods of gold. [32] Yet now, if thou wilt forgive their sin; and if not, blot me, I pray thee, out of thy book which thou hast written.

    4. Moses for JEHOVAH’s presence to go with the Israelites to the land of Canaan (Exodus 33:12-13)

[12] And Moses said unto the Lord, See, thou sayest unto me, Bring up this people: and thou hast not let me know whom thou wilt send with me. Yet thou hast said, I know thee by name, and thou hast also found grace in my sight. [13] Now therefore, I pray thee, if I have found grace in thy sight, shew me now thy way, that I may know thee, that I may find grace in thy sight: and consider that this nation is thy people.

    Exodus 33:15-16:

[15] And he said unto him, If thy presence go not with me, carry us not up hence. [16] For wherein shall it be known here that I and thy people have found grace in thy sight? is it not in that thou goest with us? so shall we be separated, I and thy people, from all the people that are upon the face of the earth.

    5. Moses for wanting to see JEHOVAH (Exodus 33:18)

And he said, I beseech thee, shew me thy glory.

    PRAYERS IN NUMBERS: 9

    1. Aaron for the blessing of JEHOVAH upon the people (Numbers 6:24-26)

[24] The Lord bless thee, and keep thee: [25] The Lord make his face shine upon thee, and be gracious unto thee: [26] The LORD lift up his countenance upon thee, and give thee peace.

    2. Moses for JEHOVAH to bless on the journey (Numbers 10:35-36)

[35] And it came to pass, when the ark set forward, that Moses said, Rise up, Lord, and let thine enemies be scattered; and let them that hate thee flee before thee. [36] And when it rested, he said, Return, O LORD, unto the many thousands of Israel.

    3. Moses complaining to JEHOVAH that a load of their problems was too much for him: (Numbers 11:10-15)

[10] Then Moses heard the people weep throughout their families, every man in the door of his tent: and the anger of the LORD was kindled greatly; Moses also was displeased.

[11] And Moses said unto the Lord, Wherefore hast thou afflicted thy servant? and wherefore have I not found favour in thy sight, that thou layest the burden of all this people upon me? [12] Have I conceived all this people? have I begotten them, that thou shouldest say unto me, Carry them in thy bosom, as a nursing father beareth the sucking child, unto the land which thou swarest unto their fathers? [13] Whence should I have flesh to give unto all this people? for they weep unto me, saying, Give us flesh, that we may eat. [14] I am not able to bear all this people alone, because it is too heavy for me. [15] And if thou deal thus with me, kill me, I pray thee, out of hand, if I have found favour in thy sight; and let me not see my wretchedness.

    4. Moses for JEHOVAH to show him what to do to give the Israelites flesh (Numbers 11:21-22)

[21] And Moses said, The people, among whom I am, are six hundred thousand footmen; and thou hast said, I will give them flesh, that they may eat a whole month. [22] Shall the flocks and the herds be slain for them, to suffice them? or shall all the fish of the sea be gathered together for them, to suffice them?

    5. Moses for the healing of his elder sister, Miriam (Numbers 12:13).

[13] And Moses cried unto the LORD, saying, Heal her now, O God, I beseech thee.

    6. Moses for JEHOVAH to be lenient with the Israelites and endures his own honor (Numbers 14:13-19)

[13] And Moses said unto the Lord, Then the Egyptians shall hear it, (for thou broughtest up this people in thy might from among them; [14] And they will tell it to the inhabitants of this land: for they have heard that thou Lord art among this people, that thou Lord art seen face to face, and that thy cloud standeth over them, and that thou goest before them, by day time in a pillar of a cloud, and in a pillar of fire by night. [15] Now if thou shalt kill all this people as one man, then the nations which have heard the fame of thee will speak, saying, [16] Because the Lord was not able to bring this people into the land which he sware unto them, therefore he hath slain them in the wilderness. [17] And now, I beseech thee, let the power of my Lord be great, according as thou hast spoken, saying, [18] The Lord is longsuffering, and of great mercy, forgiving iniquity and transgression, and by no means clearing the guilty, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children unto the third and fourth generation. [19] Pardon, I beseech thee, the iniquity of this people according unto the greatness of thy mercy, and as thou hast forgiven this people, from Egypt even until now.

    7. Moses for judgment of sin of the sons of Eliab (Numbers 16:15)

[15] And Moses was very wroth, and said unto the LORD, Respect not thou their offering: I have not taken one ass from them, neither have I hurt one of them.

    8. Israelites for forgiveness of sin (Numbers 21:7)

[7] Therefore the people came to Moses, and said, We have sinned, for we have spoken against the LORD, and against thee; pray unto the LORD, that he take away the serpents from us. And Moses prayed for the people.

    9. Moses for a new leader of Israelites (Numbers 27:16-17)

[16] Let the Lord, the God of the spirits of all flesh, set a man over the congregation, [17] Which may go out before them, and which may go in before them, and which may lead them out, and which may bring them in; that the congregation of the LORD be not as sheep which have no shepherd.

    PRAYERS IN DEUTERONOMY: 2

    1. Moses asking to go over into Canaan (Deuteronomy 3:24-25)

[24] O Lord God, thou hast begun to shew thy servant thy greatness, and thy mighty hand: for what God is there in heaven or in earth, that can do according to thy works, and according to thy might? [25] I pray thee, let me go over, and see the good land that is beyond Jordan, that goodly mountain, and Lebanon.

    2. Moses for Israel to be spared (Deuteronomy 9:26-29)

[26] I prayed therefore unto the Lord, and said, O Lord God, destroy not thy people and thine inheritance, which thou hast redeemed through thy greatness, which thou hast brought forth out of Egypt with a mighty hand. [27] Remember thy servants, Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob; look not unto the stubbornness of this people, nor to their wickedness, nor to their sin: [28] Lest the land whence thou broughtest us out say, Because the Lord was not able to bring them into the land which he promised them, and because he hated them, he hath brought them out to slay them in the wilderness. [29] Yet they are thy people and thine inheritance, which thou broughtest out by thy mighty power and by thy stretched out arm.

    PRAYERS IN JOSHUA: 2

    1. Joshua complaining to JEHOVAH for not giving victory (Joshua 7:7-9)

[7] And Joshua said, Alas, O Lord God, wherefore hast thou at all brought this people over Jordan, to deliver us into the hand of the Amorites, to destroy us? Would to God we had been content, and dwelt on the other side Jordan! [8] O Lord, what shall I say, when Israel turneth their backs before their enemies! For the Canaanites and all the inhabitants of the land shall hear of it, and shall environ us round, and cut off our name from the earth: and what wilt thou do unto thy great name?

    2. Joshua praying and commanding the sun and the moon to stand still (Joshua 10:12).

[12] Then spake Joshua to the LORD in the day when the LORD delivered up the Amorites before the children of Israel, and he said in the sight of Israel, Sun, stand thou still upon Gibeon; and thou, Moon, in the valley of Ajalon.

    PRAYERS IN JUDGES: 9

    1. Israel for guidance (Judges 1:1)

[1] Now after the death of Joshua it came to pass, that the children of Israel asked the LORD, saying, Who shall go up for us against the Canaanites first, to fight against them?

    2. Gideon for revelation and guidance (Judges 6:13,15,17,18,22)

And Gideon said unto him, Oh my Lord, if the LORD be with us, why then is all this befallen us? and where be all his miracles which our fathers told us of, saying, Did not the LORD bring us up from Egypt? but now the LORD hath forsaken us, and delivered us into the hands of the Midianites. [15] And he said unto him, Oh my Lord, wherewith shall I save Israel? behold, my family is poor in Manasseh, and I am the least in my father’ s house.

[17] And he said unto him, If now I have found grace in thy sight, then shew me a sign that thou talkest with me. [18] Depart not hence, I pray thee, until I come unto thee, and bring forth my present, and set it before thee. And he said, I will tarry until thou come again. [22] And when Gideon perceived that he was an angel of the LORD, Gideon said, Alas, O Lord GOD! for because I have seen an angel of the LORD face to face.

    3. Israel for deliverance and forgiveness of sins (Judges 10:10, 15)

[10] And the children of Israel cried unto the LORD, saying, We have sinned against thee, both because we have forsaken our God, and also served Baalim. [15] And the children of Israel said unto the LORD, We have sinned: do thou unto us whatsoever seemeth good unto thee; deliver us only, we pray thee, this day.

    4. Jephthah for victory (Judges 11:30-31)

[30] And Jephthah vowed a vow unto the Lord, and said, If thou shalt without fail deliver the children of Ammon into mine hands, [31] Then it shall be, that whatsoever cometh forth of the doors of my house to meet me, when I return in peace from the children of Ammon, shall surely be the LORD’ S, and I will offer it up for a burnt offering.

    5. Manoah for an Angel to appear and give him direction (Judges 13:8,11-12,15,17)

Then Manoah intreated the LORD, and said, O my Lord, let the man of God which thou didst send come again unto us, and teach us what we shall do unto the child that shall be born. 11-12,15,17[11] And Manoah arose, , and went after his wife, , and came to the man, , and said unto him, , Art thou the man that spakest unto the woman? And he said, , I am. . [12] And Manoah said, , Now let thy words come to pass. . How shall we order the child, , and how shall we do unto him?[15] And Manoah said unto the angel of the LORD, , I pray thee, , let us detain thee, , until we shall have made ready a kid for thee. [17] And Manoah said unto the angel of the LORD, , What is thy name, , that when thy sayings come to pass we may do thee honour?

    6. Samson for one last victory (Judges 16:28)

[28] And Samson called unto the LORD, and said, O Lord GOD, remember me, I pray thee, and strengthen me, I pray thee, only this once, O God, that I may be at once avenged of the Philistines for my two eyes.

    7. Israel for guidance (Judges 20:23)

[23] And the children of Israel went up and wept before the LORD until even, and asked counsel of the LORD, saying, Shall I go up again to battle against the children of Benjamin my brother? And the LORD said, Go up against him.

    8. Israel for guidance (Judges 20:28)

[28] And Phinehas, the son of Eleazar, the son of Aaron, stood before it in those days, saying, Shall I yet again go out to battle against the children of Benjamin my brother, or shall I cease? And the LORD said, Go up; for to morrow I will deliver them into thine hand.

    9. Israel for Revelation (Judges 21:3)

[3] And said, O LORD God of Israel, why is this come to pass in Israel, that there should be to day one tribe lacking in Israel?

    PRAYERS IN 1 SAMUEL: 6

    1 Hannah for a son (1 Samuel 1:11)

[11] And she vowed a vow, and said, O LORD of hosts, if thou wilt indeed look on the affliction of thine handmaid, and remember me, and not forget thine handmaid, but wilt give unto thine handmaid a man child, then I will give him unto the LORD all the days of his life, and there shall no razor come upon his head.

    2. Hannah to thank JEHOVAH and appreciate HIM for answered prayer of a son (1 Samuel 2:1-10)

[1] And Hannah prayed, and said, My heart rejoiceth in the LORD, mine horn is exalted in the LORD: my mouth is enlarged over mine enemies; because I rejoice in thy salvation. [2] There is none holy as the Lord: for there is none beside thee: neither is there any rock like our God. [3] Talk no more so exceeding proudly; let not arrogancy come out of your mouth: for the Lord is a God of knowledge, and by him actions are weighed. [4] The bows of the mighty men are broken, and they that stumbled are girded with strength. [5] They that were full have hired out themselves for bread; and they that were hungry ceased: so that the barren hath born seven; and she that hath many children is waxed feeble. [6] The Lord killeth, and maketh alive: he bringeth down to the grave, and bringeth up. [7] The Lord maketh poor, and maketh rich: he bringeth low, and lifteth up. [8] He raiseth up the poor out of the dust, and lifteth up the beggar from the dunghill, to set them among princes, and to make them inherit the throne of glory: for the pillars of the earth are the Lord’ s, and he hath set the world upon them. [9] He will keep the feet of his saints, and the wicked shall be silent in darkness; for by strength shall no man prevail. [10] The adversaries of the LORD shall be broken to pieces; out of heaven shall he thunder upon them: the LORD shall judge the ends of the earth; and he shall give strength unto his king, and exalt the horn of his anointed.

    3. Saul for direction (1 Samuel 14:37)

[37] And Saul asked counsel of God, Shall I go down after the Philistines? wilt thou deliver them into the hand of Israel? But he answered him not that day.

    4. David for direction (1 Samuel 23:2)

[2] Therefore David enquired of the LORD, saying, Shall I go and smite these Philistines? And the LORD said unto David, Go, and smite the Philistines, and save Keilah.

    5. David for divulgence (1 Samuel 23:10-12)

[10] Then said David, O Lord God of Israel, thy servant hath certainly heard that Saul seeketh to come to Keilah, to destroy the city for my sake. [11] Will the men of Keilah deliver me up into his hand? will Saul come down, as thy servant hath heard? O LORD God of Israel, I beseech thee, tell thy servant. And the LORD said, He will come down. [12] Then said David, Will the men of Keilah deliver me and my men into the hand of Saul? And the LORD said, They will deliver thee up.

    6. David for another divulgence (1 Samuel 30:8)

[8] And David enquired at the LORD, saying, Shall I pursue after this troop? shall I overtake them? And he answered him, Pursue: for thou shalt surely overtake them, and without fail recover all.

    PRAYERS IN 2 SAMUEL:4

    1. David for divulgence (2 Samuel 2:1)

[1] Shall I go up into any of the cities of Judah? And the LORD said unto him, Go up. And David said, Whither shall I go up? And he said, Unto Hebron.

    2. David for divulgence (2 Samuel 5:19)

[19] And David enquired of the LORD, saying, Shall I go up to the Philistines? wilt thou deliver them into mine hand? And the LORD said unto David, Go up: for I will doubtless deliver the Philistines into thine hand.

    3. David for realization of his covenant with JEHOVAH (Davidic covenant, 2 Samuel 7:18-29)

[18] Then went king David in, and sat before the Lord, and he said, Who am I, O Lord God? and what is my house, that thou hast brought me hitherto? [19]
