Introduction
Laws are based on repeated experiments, tests, observations and implementations that predict or describe natural phenomena. In the Kingdom of God there are laws and principles set in place to cause life to work for and not against us.
The enemy only comes to steal, kill and destroy, but our Lord Jesus has come so that we may have and enjoy life, and have it in abundance, to the full until it overflows. By being found in Him, we already have everything pertaining to life and godliness within us. As born again children of God, we tend to settle for less than what God has prepared and purposed for us, because we do not know or understand spiritual laws and principles.
The world has put its system in place and because we are in the world we think we have to follow its standard, customs and traditions. Unfortunately, because we do not understand that we are from a higher Kingdom, we conform to the world’s standard which is actually a low standard! We are settling for less than we have been called to and we think it’s normal, that it’s just the way things are and there’s nothing we can do about it. We have to understand that spiritual laws govern the natural world. Once you understand them you will be able to determine the course of your life. You will be able to reject the strategies of the devil and accept the will of God alone in your life.
This book focuses on some vital spiritual laws that you need to understand and experience as a child of God. These are explained in the following chapters: The love of God; The Word of God is life; The Holy Ghost; Faith; Prayer; Peace of mind and rest are your inheritance; Authority of a child of God; We have the divine nature of God in us; Free from the power of sin and understanding that temptation is not sin; Life is spiritual; Thoughts + words + attitude + action = life; Generosity = prosperity; Called to a complete life; You are not of this world. By understanding and living according to these truths in your life, you’ll move to a whole new level of relationship with God. You will experience salvation to the fullest, the way God intended for you to live. You will enjoy the abundant life you have been called to.
Some of the contents may contradict what religion and tradition have taught you, but I have supported every point with Scripture with the sole intention of calling you to freedom and causing you to reign in this present life through Christ Jesus. These principles have worked for me and they are still working. I am now living my best life in Christ Jesus.
Transformation and renewal is a process not a destination. It does not happen overnight; it takes time but worry not, you have been given every tool to live a godly life. Do not beat yourself up as you unlearn your habits. Be patient and always be dependent upon the Holy Ghost. The Holy Spirit is in you so you do not have to search or look anywhere else for help. You don’t even have to feel pressured to perform to anybody’s standard but God’s. He will make you willing and able to do God’s will.
God bless you as you engage with this book.
Prayer of Salvation
You must be born again and accept God’s love gift, His beloved Son Jesus Christ, in order to unlock life, to experience and enjoy relationship with God. The price has been paid in full for you to have peace, healing, freedom, and to be made whole. Everything is ready for you, just receive.
For God so loved the world that He gave His one and only Son, so that whoever believes in Him will not perish but have eternal life
(John 3:16).
Whoever has the Son has life; whoever does not have God’s Son does not have life
(1 John 5:12).
If you openly declare that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved
(Romans 10:9).
If you want to accept Jesus Christ today that you may triumph and enjoy life, please openly repeat the prayer below:
Dear Lord Jesus, thank you for laying down your life that I may be raised up with you. I believe that God raised you from the dead that I may enjoy life in freedom and liberty. I soberly take this decision to allow you to be my Lord and Saviour. Holy Spirit seal me in God and execute His plan for my life, in the name of Jesus, AMEN.
You are now in right standing with God and He calls you ‘MINE’. He has wiped you clean from every sin that you have committed, you are forgiven! You have got full access to the throne room.
May your mind be renewed and transformed as you discover yourself in Christ Jesus. With the aid of this book may you see Jesus, His loving kindness, faithfulness and compassion in your life.
Prayer For the Baptism of the Holy Spirit
Now that you are saved you have to receive the baptism of the Holy Spirit who will empower you to live this new life in Christ Jesus. The Holy Ghost is the third person of the Godhead, He is your friend and He is in you. You need Him in order to walk in power and victory.
For everyone who asks receives, and he who seeks finds, and to him who knocks it will be opened … how much more will your heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit to those who ask Him!
(Luke 11:10,13).
And when the Holy Spirit comes upon you, you will be filled with power …
(Acts 1:8).
Pray aloud: Father, thank you for the gift of salvation, and now that I have received it I ask for the gift of the Holy Spirit. I know you will baptise me in your Spirit because you love me. I cast down my reasoning against your will and receive the Holy Spirit, in Jesus’ name, Amen.
They were all filled with the Holy Spirit and began to talk in other languages, as the Spirit enabled them to speak
(Acts 2:4).
After you have prayed you may sense some unfamiliar sounds forming inside you. Speak them out! That is the Holy Spirit giving you your supernatural language which enables you to pray the perfect will of God about your life.

The Love of God
God’s love and grace are unconditional! They never fluctuate based on your performance. God does not love you more or less when you are good or bad, He loves you regardless. The love of God has got nothing to do with who you are; it has everything to do with who He is. Believe and accept God’s love for you. God’s marvellous grace for us is motivated by His wonderful love for us, not because we are lovely but because He is love. Intimacy and relationship with God is not just possible but it is what you were created for. It may be that what religion and tradition have taught you hinders you from experiencing God’s kind of love. We should live our lives from inside out. From the fullness of the love of God that is revealed to us to obtain it, may your mind be renewed as you read this chapter.
Endless Love
For God so greatly loved and dearly prized the world… so that ANYONE who believes in Him will not perish but have eternal life
(John 3:16 NLT emphasis mine).
The faithfulness of the Lord never ends! His tender mercies never cease; He is always compassionate towards His people (Lamentations 3:22). God loved you so greatly that He gave or sacrificed what is most precious to Him. He did this willingly to save and give you life. God’s unfailing love and faithfulness were given through Jesus (John 1:17). Jesus willingly laid down His life to save your life because of His love for you (John 10:18; Ephesians 2:4). He is the ruler of all kings, all glory to Him who loves us and has freed us from our sins by shedding His blood for us (Revelations 1:5) Understanding God’s love is key to enjoying our everyday lives in Christ Jesus. God’s unfailing love is the fountain from which everything pertaining to life springs forth. He has loved us with an everlasting love and He delights in showing us mercy (Jeremiah 31:3; Zephaniah 3:17).
The devil has been trying to paint an ugly picture of God to the world and some have believed the enemy’s lies and deception. The devil’s accusations are an insult to who God is. The Father has gone to such great lengths for us. He sent His Son to die for us and take all the sickness and diseases, the suffering, the pain, the shame, and the unrighteousness of humankind on Himself (Isaiah 53:1-12). Because the devil has been deceiving God’s people by giving them a distorted image of themselves, many Christians today have an identity crisis due to the lack of revelation of God’s love for them. For some it is hard to accept God’s forgiveness for a sin they have committed because of this bad image embedded in their minds of God and of themselves.
Even when it comes to sickness and disease, religion and tradition have often crippled believers. You see this through the way they speak when one is sick. They might say things like: ‘God is teaching me humility, hence I have this sickness.’ Saying such things is caused by ignorance and not accepting the truth of the Word of God. Indeed, we perish because of a lack of knowledge and understanding (Hosea 4:6). If we believe that it is God’s will for us to be sick, why do we seek treatment to get away from the ‘will’ of God? Sickness is of the devil and it has nothing to do with God. Sickness and disease are not God’s will for any one of His people. Forgiveness of sin and the healing of your body are inseparable. He forgave all our sins and healed all our diseases (Psalm 103:3; Isaiah 53:5; 1 Peter 2:24). God does not want us to suffer anything evil, such as sickness, just to teach us something. That is the devil trying to destroy our lives. The devil only comes to kill, steal, and destroy, but Jesus has come so that we may have life and have it to the fullest (John 10:10). Let us not get things twisted, the enemy of our souls is the devil, not God. God sent Jesus to bear our sins and carry our diseases because He loves us and values our lives. He wants us well and able to serve Him (3 John 2:5).
If we want to know what God is like we should just study and follow Jesus’ life here on earth. If we study Jesus we have a better understanding of who God is because Jesus and God are one. During His time here on earth, Jesus went about telling the truth, healing people, casting out evil spirits, forgiving sins; and He proved His love by giving Himself up to die on the Cross to seal the deal so that we could be with Him forever.
His life illustrated the character and nature of God, who is love personified.
• Jesus and the Father are one (John 17:21; John 14:9; John 10:30).
• There is nothing Jesus did without hearing from the Father. The works Jesus performed are God’s will for His people even today because Jesus is the same yesterday, today, and forever (John 14:10-11; Hebrews 13:8).
• God dwells in Jesus in all His fullness (Colossians 2:9).
• Christ Jesus is the visible image of the invisible God (Colossians 1:15).
• He existed at the beginning with God and He was God (John 1:1).
• Jesus never did anything by Himself. He did whatever He saw God the Father do (John 5:19).
We were delivered from the kingdom of darkness to the Kingdom of Light. We need to understand that God is a good God who loves us like a good father loves his children. The enemy will try to bring us under condemnation or tell us that we are an exception, but let us not let him talk us out of it. Let us get into the word, find out the truth, believe it, and live by it.
Faith manifests itself through love (Galatians 5:6). Once you are convinced and convicted of the love of the Father there is nothing you cannot believe God for! If God did not spare His precious Son for us, won’t He give us everything else (Romans 8:32)? Of course, He will! Each day God pours out His unfailing love upon us. He is our life and solid rock in which we stand (Psalm 42:8- 9).
I in them and you in me, so that they may be completely one, in order that the world may know that you sent me and that you LOVE THEM AS YOU LOVE ME
(John 17:23 GNT emphasis mine).
Wow! You need to get your soul in tune with this truth that God loves you as much as He loves Jesus. These are the direct words of our Lord Jesus and we know that no lie comes out of His mouth. If He said it, it is so! It does not matter how you project yourself, this statement has come to cancel out every high thing that exalts itself above the knowledge of Christ. Be bold, be confident. Come out of shame and disgrace because you are loved, not just with ordinary whimsy bitsy love, but with great love!
John 17:23, John 17:22 and Ephesians 1:19 have made me very confident in my walk with Jesus. I had to come out of myself and identify with what God says about me. If He says the same power that raised Jesus Christ from the dead is in me, then that very same power is really in me! And I can do the things Jesus did while He was here on earth and even more, glory to God! (John 14:12). Real liberty is in accepting the truth of the Word, so shut that reason up and start aligning with the Word. We know who said ‘I will destroy the wisdom of the wise and will bring to nothing the understanding of the prudent’, so it is no use to evaluate yourself according to your wisdom because God has made the wisdom of this world foolishness (1 Corinthians 1:19-20). Embrace His love for you today and start living.
I traded their lives for yours because you are precious to me. You are honoured and I love you
(Isaiah 43:4 NLT).
God will show favouritism over you, child of God, simply because He identifies you with His Son Christ Jesus. You are precious and you are His prized possession (James 1:18), hence God will give man in exchange for you. He will always stand with you in His unfailing love (Psalm 59:10). This means your Father works in favour of you in every part of your life. You should hold your head up high and walk in boldness and confidence because your God is for you and not against you (Hebrews 13:6). Whatever the aspect of your life, God is interested in you, He wants to work all things for your good and benefit (Psalm 37:23; Romans 8:28). Your God rescues you from death and all diseases, He forgives all your sins and He crowns you with love and tender mercies (Psalm 103:3-4).
Let’s have a practical example: suppose you are one of five business people and you have to pitch a proposal and you are the only saved one. God will give the tender to you because of His favour upon you, and even though you highlight some mistakes during the proposal and, looking from a physical standpoint, you do not qualify, God can bag the deal for you because you are precious and valuable to Him. This, however, should not promote laziness and carelessness. Whatever your hand finds to do, do it well (Ecclesiastes 9:10). He gives men in exchange for you. Some may think God is unfair, NO! He favours those who belong to Him and those who know their authority and understand the Kingdom principles.
Let’s look at how God favoured Isaac just because He was called by the Lord’s name (Genesis 26:3,12). There was a famine in the land of Gerar where God told Isaac to live. The promise God gave him was ‘go and I will be with you and bless you.’ Isaac sowed crops in that land, and that year he harvested a hundred times as much as he had sown because the Lord blessed him. He became so prosperous that the king commanded him to leave his country (Genesis 26:16). See, ladies and gentlemen, how God gives man in our place just because we trust in Him? The Lord bestows favour, grace, glory, a future, and all heavenly bliss to those who walk uprightly. Blessed is the one who trusts, confidently looking to God without fear (Psalm 84:11-12). God always does what He promised He would do because He loves you; you will have plenty to eat in famine and be satisfied (Psalm 34:19).
For the Father, himself loves you dearly because you love me and believe that I came from God
(John 16:27 NLT).
Understanding the love of God is the key, brethren. God Himself loves you dearly and there is nothing you can do or not do that will cause God to love you more or less.
I remember when I was seeking the baptism of the Holy Spirit, my whole approach was wrong. I would pray to be baptised and to see flames because others had emphasised that when He comes something spectacular will happen, you will feel Him overwhelm you. I was disappointed each time I prayed and did not receive, and finally told myself that God loves me less than the other brethren because I make so many mistakes. My heart was hardened against God because I allowed myself to believe people more than the Word of God.
I finally understood that God loves me regardless of my mistakes or shortfalls. God wants to use me and He wants to fill me up with His Spirit. I opened my heart to the Father and I received the baptism of the Holy Spirit.
Here is a trap that we often just walk right into, maybe because of the church environment and self-righteousness: getting
