Preface

Before my daughter left for prison, she asked me one thing: Please, Mama, write me. Her crime was addiction to drugs. The lawyer also pleaded for her to take the opposite—rehab. We both felt the choice was not in her best interest. Through these letters, my daughter shared with others the supremacy of God’s love and the power of forgiveness. These letters are to all God’s daughters who want to know the story of redemption of who they are in Christ.

What I didn’t know before I became a Christian was taught to me by the Spirit of God that changed this perspective. That information is found in the words of these letters directly from the Word and Spirit of God and from the heart of a mother who believed.

I encourage parents and daughters this day, what you have done in the past is forgiven and under the blood. Take what belongs to you and bathe with the Word of God. Forgiveness is not a bottle or a vile. It is a reality in the spirit realm; when you ask for forgiveness, you are forgiven. Stop beating yourself up and licking your wounds from the past. The truth is that you have a future from a Holy God that loves you and sees you whole. He has a future for you, a life of victory, not loss or failure. Will you allow me to reveal this plan to you?
