    CHAT #1

The other day I got a really bad cut on my finger . . . thankfully, I had a clean wash cloth in the car so I began to apply pressure to the cut to stop the bleeding—I got home and ran some cold water over it and realized that even though I applied pressure to my finger, the blood continued to flow out—the cool water made my finger feel better—however—I was unable to stop the bleeding . . . I applied more pressure and eventually the bleeding stopped—even though the bleeding stopped, I realized that I had pain on the area in which the bleeding had started—what have I done? Why is it hurting after I stopped the bleeding? So now I clean it (so that it won’t get infected) and dress it up with gauze and a band-aid . . . felt a little better—however now I am impaired . . .
