Odes to Life and Love
()
About this ebook
This book is about the love partners have with each other. Forty- one years of creating a relationship and the tools they used to keep life going. It is the psychology of repair. Accepting of loss and moving on. Sometimes it is confessional, but mostly a tour of remembrance. A reason for life and the pursuit of happiness.
It is a collection of emotions and reminder of how great life is. How life should be an ongoing adventure. How death is the beginning of a new life. My partner wanted me to move on and not die of loneliness. Hence the examination of life through poetry.

Introduction
My name is Timothy M. Nugent
Who like you had incidents in life which were urgent
It is my hope that my poetic expressions
Leaves you with tender impressions
I hope it brings you intuitive thoughts
A time to think what life has brought
I find people seek relief
Like me, when life brings grief
I am no different than you
Sometimes my life goes eschew
When my wife died in two thousand-eight
I realized that my life did not end and its not too late
I was luckier than most
I had a wonderful host
All the mistakes I made in life
Still she stayed my loving wife
Through poetry good or bad
It helps me enjoy the remaining time I have
I hope my expression gives you peace
Joy and love some positive release
Life is too short
Do not abort
Hug your spouse and your kids
Remember your mom and dad
Remember what you have
By the way
Thanks

SHE WAS MY BRIDE FOR THIRTY-EIGHT YEARS
AND REMEMBERING BRINGS SO MANY TEARS
LONELINESS BUT NO DESPAIR
I WAS LUCKY THERE IS NO ONE TO COMPARE
THE LOVE OF MY LIFE YOU HAD TO BE THERE
SHE HELD MY HANDS IN GOOD TIMES AND BAD
SHE HUGGED ME WHEN SHE WAS SAD
SHE GAVE ME CONFIDENCE WHEN TIMES WERE TOUGH
SHE MADE ME
