    INTRODUCTION

I want to take you into a life and a time of a killer. What he would do in a crime and what goes on in there mind. It is something to think about. Could you pull it off?

I want to take you inside the mind of a trouble man named Jack Bent. Jake was diagnosed in the late 2003 when the doctors said he was Bipolar.

Jack was 23 at the time. But he had a mind of a genius. He could count numbers; he even won the lottery for the pick 4. He heard voices those he said that passed on, and was tested about it, and turned out to be true.

Not only that but he and the doctors said he could see visions of people. He practiced witch craft, and went to church.

The doctors were convinced when he deciphered the bible. That he was a danger to life it’s self. Here is a story to a killer. But as a killer even the smartest make mistakes. Hell Einstein even had a flaw tighing his shoes. Let’s get to the story.

    CHAPTER 1

So it was a cold January day in 2007. On the 18th a crime was committed in a small town of Saint Paris. At an outside of a park, they found a woman dead. Her name was Jessica Conley. Jack was head of every operation in the state of Ohio. If he couldn’t drive, they flew him in to the crime scene.

He was called SILENT STEEL! Jessica was an 18 year old, and was found in a wooded area outside of a park called Kiser Lake Road.

He was flown in to the scene. No one was aloud to enter the site until he gave the ok. As the chopper landed he got out of the chopper. Being 23 he was young. He had a brown crew cut, and was slim fit male. He was in a suite.

As he pulled up to the crime scene, he saw something that stood out. In a trail of blood, he started to have a vision as he had a head ache. He saw a woman running through the trail with long blonde hair. That was screaming for help.

He heard a gun shot and fell to the ground. To officers said to him are you ok. He said before he reached into the scene I want this scene blocked off.

He started to look slowly down to the ground and found a shoe print. He didn’t have anything to mark it. So he took a dollar out of his pocket, and laid it next to the shoe print. He then took a camera and took the picture.

It was for evidence. As he went closer he followed the blood, and walked up to the woman with a bullet in her chest. He said to call in Skip that he had to find the shell of the bullet. That in the checking of the bullet shell it holds a print on the gun.

Once Skip got there. He had a K-9 dog, and they found a shell 5 yards from the body. It was a 38 pistol. He said mark it with a flag, so we know how far they are from the body. He said there behind my seat in my truck.

They marked it, and he took picture after picture of the woman. The thing was there was nothing missing as they looked through the scene. The pocket book and everything was there at the scene. The gun was not in or around the scene.

Jessica was dressed in a pair of hip huggers and a t-shirt she was slim white female. She was laid face down in the mud. She was just a kid Jack said to him.

He said I want the bullet checked out. I want hair found from the person that did this, and blood samples. Swab under her finger nails! I want something more then a bullet. You can look from a list of guns in the data to see if the gun has been in another murder in the United States. Plus I want to know who wears thoughs type of shoes. How they said. I want a mold made just like it.

They said I can do that and get back to you. I want the evidence today. I want to know friends she had I want to know anything and everything.

I would date her about 3 days out here sir. Now who is going to inform her family? Jack said I will do it. He said its part of my job. But there will have to be an end to this.

He never left behind anything so maybe there is nothing else connected to this murder. We got a killer on the run that’s what we got to worry about.

I’m going to the family. He said keep me informed. I will let them know what a maniac did to there daughter. We don’t need to identify her yet until we are done with the crime scene and autopsy.

He got into his H3 hummer. The hummer was a state truck. He got into the truck and left the site, and got on Seventh Street. He thought to his self who would do this to an 18 year old in a small community. As he drove he had another vision and voices. They kept yelling his name and felt a bullet go through his chest. He woke up looking at the road, and weaved through the lanes almost hitting an on coming car.

He reached the back roads to the home. It was a pretty picture of a perfect family. A nice house on the hill! An American dream!

As he reached the long lane, he knocked on the door, and a woman answered the door. He said is your daughter named Jessica? She said yes what’s going on? Your daughter I hate to say this which he bowed his head said has been murdered.

She fell to the floor and started crying. He kneeled down and held her hand. She said who could do such a thing. He said that’s what I came to find out. Do you care if I search your home, and see her room?

She said go ahead. He said what is your name? I’m Maggie Conley! She shook his hand as he said I’m Jack Bent. He said that he would find the killer before they done it again.

She was crying, and he said lay on the couch and I will look in her room. She said ok, and he walked into his room, after asking her where it was.

When he walked into the room it was cold, and felt dark in the room. As he went towards the bed he had a vision of her. It was a man that was looking over her in her bed, and covered her mouth, and had his way with her.

He felt a presents that was Erie in the room. He looked in her draws, and swept the bed for blood and everything possible.

When he went into the restroom he heard the toilet running, and thought I can fix it. So he walked over to it he lifted the top lid to work on the inside.

When he did so he fond her diary, and thought he hit the jackpot. It was sealed from the water. He took it, and put it on the sink as he put the lid back on.

He talked to Maggie and asked if he could take it for evidence. She said no problem. He said I will keep in touch, and if you and your husband have any other info for me here is my card. She said thank you, and said I will call my husband from work. He asked before he left what he did for a living?

She said he’s in the insurance business. He said good afternoon, and was in his hummer. He drove to the local scene after an hour drive back to the site of the murder.

He set with the heat on, and watched the snow come over the crime scene, and the tape was out whipping in the air. He set in the Hummer thinking what he could get from the site and evidence.

He pulled out her diary, and started to read it. He flipped to the day before she was missing, and it said I met with my friend today at lunch. She was wondering who I was going with to the home coming.

I told her it would be Steve the star football player. She just cracked a joke at me in her jealous ways. He flipped through the journal, and seen that everyday was in it but the days she was missing. He flipped back two a week ago, and read a little passage.

Mom wasn’t home and dad was the only one that was there for an afternoon. She must have been out with her boy friend that dad knew about but hid from the public. I was sleeping when he came in, and made me do things with him that he told me if I told he would be very angry, and no one would believe me anyways.

When mom got home they had a fight, and mom threatened to leave him again. He stopped reading when he seen a state vehicle came to the site.

He thought to his self this is not a perfect family after all. All the secrets in one book can make a difference. He walked up to the car and seen it was a state car.

He said hello! Jack said hello back. He said I’m Ben and I got all the paper work and photos for you. He said I have a case that I need to follow and patch up the leads. He said this will help you. He said this is everything I need huh! Yeah Ben said! I didn’t mean to get cocky.

He said thank you Ben I don’t need a partner. I work a lone. Ben said ok I will go. Get this crazy asshole before something happens. Something has already happened.

Ben said I know. He said good luck, and walked back to his car. That’s when he noticed from the snow covering the tire marks of a tire that was not a tire mark from the state trucks. He took a picture.

He then got back in the hummer, and looked over the paper work. All it had was shoes where Pacific Trail and the gun were never used in another murder. There was no skin under the nails, and found that the only thing was a bullet shoes and tires from good year.

He called the Conley’s back and said I need to see you both. He told them his office. They said they would be there.

He drove and things went through his mind about her father and her mother. Plus what they could say about her grades, friends, and also any one that disliked her.

He got to the local station, and he asked the officers to go on patrol, so he could ask questions. They left, and in came the Conley’s just like a perfect family.

He said to the father what is your name? It is Carl Conley. He said please have a seat. He said I need to talk to you about the evidence I have. They stuttered and said what evidence you have.

I got a diary that stats that you where making your daughter do this to you for pleasure. Did you know this Maggie? No I didn’t Carl would never do that. Jack yelled. It says right here and I quote! Mom wasn’t home and dad was the only one that was there for an afternoon. She must have been out with her boy friend that dad knew about but hid from the public. I was sleeping when he came in, and made me do things with him that he told me if I told he would be very angry, and no one would believe me anyways!

Maggie said to Carl how you could do that. Carl yelled back to her. I never did that to my child! It doesn’t matter any more you two.

He said what kind of tires you have on your car. Good Year of course. What pair of shoes do you have Pacific Trail. Jack said why did you do it? He said I never did anything. He said look at the evidence Carl!

He said alright its cause she reminded me of her mother, and she was a slut just like her mother. Then you just admitted to it. Maggie said why? Face it Maggie he said I wasn’t happy, and keeping it from the public was not working, and I had to divorce you, and leave, but I would have to raise another you. So I took her to the wooded area, and shot her.

Jack told the Officers to arrest him, and take the recording of the session in for evidence. This case is solved. Your hands are tied, and the courts will decide your fate. I hope to god they have pitty on your soul.

Jack said I will be at the hearing, and see the out come of it. Maggie said thank you.
