Chosen (Etymology)
Everyone has been hurt, everyone experiences heartache,
It seems we are tested, to see just how much we can take.
Some become numb, others become cold,
Some sit and wonder what wrong number on life’s die they rolled,
I zealously try to warm the hearts that have been frozen,
This is my duty, to do which I have been divinely Chosen.
It has been written that all shall speak free,
Sometimes this right is denied, with this fact no one can disagree,
Race, gender, even religious and spiritual ties,
These often determine to whom this amendment actually applies,
I will stand for those afraid to be outspoken,
This is
