Satans intension is to kill, steal and destroy. This mission he wants to accomplish in the life of every Christian. This book is designed to be a daily prayer guide or manual to help the believer to scatter every plan of the enemy even before they are conceived.
The book has been written for those that want to be free from all demonic operations against their lives.
The book guides the reader to follow the footsteps of our LORD JESUS CHRIST who defeated Satan during his temptation using the Word of God.

The consistent use of the prayer points included in this book will help the believer to be conversant with the relevant Bible passages for warfare. It will also help him to meditate on the Word of God day and night so that he will be shielded from every plan of the devil.

The Christian Spiritual Warfare Series - Emmanuel Anumaka

SATAN’S FIGHT AGAINST YOUR KNOWING THE WORD OF GOD

Beloved, the devil does not want you to touch or even read the Bible; he also hates your prayers.

Have you ever wondered why some persons who are consummate readers of other books such as romantic novels, magazines, science books, and fictions show no interest when it comes to reading and meditating on the Bible which is the Word of God – a book that has the solution to every problem that man ever faces?

Have you ever wondered that whenever you want to read this book, something immediately comes to distract your attention by reminding you of a place you need to go to or other tasks that you need to perform? Sometimes, it may even tell you not to worry and that you will still come back and read it later, which always remains unfulfilled. Satan is behind all those distractions; he does not want you to find the solution to your problems.

He tries as much as possible to distance you from the Word of God. The Bible in the Book of John 1: 1 says:

In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.

Satan is an enemy of God’s Word. The Book of Romans 8: 7–8 says:

Because the carnal mind is enmity against God: for it is not subject to the law of God, neither indeed can be. So then they that are in the flesh cannot please God.

By depriving you of that daily study of the Word of God, Satan seeks to deprive you of the benefits you stand to gain. This fact was illustrated by our Lord Jesus Christ in the Parable of the Sower (Matt. 13).

He said a sower went out to sow and some of the seeds fell on the wayside and the fowls in the air came to devour them.

The second set of seeds fell on stony places, where there was not much earth, and when the sun was up, they were scorched and withered away because they had no roots.

The third set fell on the thorns and the thorns sprung up and choked them. While the fourth set fell on good ground and some brought out a hundredfold, some sixtyfold and some thirtyfold.

When the disciples met him for an explanation of the parable, he made a statement in Matthew 13: 15:

For this people’s heart is waxed gross and their ears are dull of hearing and their eyes they have closed lest at any time they should see with their eyes and hear with their ears and should understand with their heart, and should be converted and I should heal them.

Satan does not want anybody to be converted so that God will heal them. That is the main reason why he tries to discourage people from reading the Word of God. Our Lord Jesus went on to explain the parable in Matthew 13: 19–23.

    19. When anyone heareth the word of the kingdom, and understandeth it not, then cometh the wicked one, and catcheth away that which was sown in his heart. This is he which received seed by the way side.

    20. But he that received the seed into stony places, the same is he that heareth the word, and anon with joy received it;

    21. Yet hath he not root in himself, but dureth for a while: for when tribulation or persecution arises because of the word, by and by he is offended.

    22. He also that received seed among the thorns is he that heareth the word; and the care of this world, and the deceitfulness of riches, choke the word and he becometh unfruitful.

    23. But he that received seed into the good ground is he that heareth the word, and understandeth it, which also beareth fruit and bringeth forth, some an hundred fold, some sixty, some thirty.

So Satan will go to any length and do anything to prevent you from bearing fruit.

The Bible buttressed the need for meditating on the Word of God in the Book of Josh. 1: 8; it says: This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth; but thou shalt meditate therein day and night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein: for then thou shall make thy way prosperous, and then thou shalt have good success.

The Christian spiritual warfare series is a book designed to put Christians on the guard against the wiles of the devil. Satan is very crafty; the Bible describes him as the most cunning of all the beasts which the LORD God has created.

The Bible say he is moving like a roaring lion, looking for whom to devour, because he knows that he hath but a short time; he will never devour you in the name of Jesus.

HOW OUR LORD JESUS CHRIST COUNTERED SATAN USING THE WORD OF GOD

When our Lord Jesus Christ encountered Satan, the Word of God was what he used to counter the attacks of the devil. You too can equally succeed using the Word of God because the Word of God is the Sword of the Spirit. No soldier ever goes into the battlefield without his weapons. Your own weapon in this battle is the Word of God.

Let us examine some of the ways in which our Lord Jesus Christ used this Sword of the Spirit (the Word of God) against the devil during his temptation.

The Bible in the Book of Matthew 4: 3–4 says: ‘And when the tempter came to Him, he said, if thou be the Son of God, command that these stones be made bread. And Jesus answered him and said, it is written, Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God.

Our Lord Jesus Christ made this quotation from the Book of Deuteronomy 8: 3:

For the second temptation, the devil took our Lord Jesus Christ to the top of the pinnacle of the temple and said unto him, ‘If thou be the Son of God, cast thyself down: for it is written, He shall give his angels charge concerning thee: and in their hands they shall bear thee up, lest at any time thou dash thy foot against a stone’ (Matt. 4: 6). Satan made this quotation from the Book of Psalm 91: 11–12 when he saw that our Lord Jesus Christ was using the Word of God against him. However, our Lord Jesus Christ answered and said, ‘It is written again, Thou shall not tempt the Lord thy God’ (Matt. 4: 7). Our Lord Jesus Christ made this quotation from the Book of Deuteronomy 6:
