    The Waste Land

    A BRIEF FORWARD

    So here it is . . . another madman’s book of poetry. Like bubbles of air rising from the depths of the dark sea, these poems came into being in places I have never seen with my eyes. Suffice it to say, the words and images you are about to peruse emerged from some vague, far-away promontory inside the convoluted canyons of my mind . . . bare naked and as honest as a sharp thorn stabbing one’s eye. Most of these poems are about sex and death. (What else?) And as for the visuals . . . all were synthesized from other publications, representing life’s reflections . . . dark nightmarish reflections perhaps, of the times I have observed and felt since 1970. The artist in me is not proud, nor am I necessarily happy to present these
