Authors Note
This story was inspired by some very close friends through out my high school career. Though the events are fake the people in the story are very real. Thank you William Umstead, Samantha Mills, Lela Harris, Aaron Wolf, Kayla Smith, and Jessica Tervoran. For being so inspiring and such great people. I am pleased to have been your friend and will treasure those memories always. I wish to those who read this that you have as good of friends as I did. I would also like to give a big thank you to Hailey Dods for the amazing cover picture. Thank you very much all of you. You all made this story possible.

The Boy with White Hair

Headache
Starting at a new school is so much fun isn’t it? Not. But that’s what I’m doing. This is my first day attending Cyclone High. I wonder how the school got its name. I thought to myself. I’m a sophomore so that kind of makes it a little worse. Everybody has their little clique and people are going to be talking about the new kid. What’s going to make it even worse is that I had white hair.
Now I can explain that. Let me back up and say that in the beginning when we are born we do not have our powers. Around the age of twelve our power become unlocked. I remember when mine became unlocked. I was sleeping when suddenly I was woke up because I suddenly felt like my heart was on fire. It was beating so fast and it didn’t hurt, but it was so strange. Then suddenly I got a terrible headache. And not the kind that aspirin can fix either. I went back to bed and when I woke up the next morning I was shocked by what I saw in the mirror.
My hair had gone from dusty blonde to pure white that actually looked good against my semi pale skin, my eyes went from brown to grey, and I felt great. The energy in my body felt like I had electricity in my blood. I’ve been that way ever since. It feels weird, but I got used to it. That was about three years ago. Other than getting a little taller at five feet three inches and a little stronger my hair has stayed the same. My eyes change when I start using my powers.
So anyway back to starting at a new school. I was breakfast time
