December 23, 1989 12:00 Midnight, the Lord appeared to me in a small room in Chicago delivering me and saving me from 15years of a crack addiction. Luke 4:18: declares he will set the captive free, this began my journey in setting the captive free by the Power of the Holy Spirit, Jesus burn in my heart by his Holy Spirit; to Bring healing and gave me a burden for the addicted & to peach the Good News of knowledge.
I have seen and experience the suffering of the spirit of bondage to the addiction of crack cocaine, God place in my heart to reach Pastors, Leaders and anyone who has a real burden for the addicted in the churches.
Many Pastors & churches do not have a program to help those in bondage Jesus said Faith without works is dead, the Lord said my people parish lack of Knowledge, Leader need to be equip, churches need to establish support group for the injured, afflicted saints, new converts, that are hurting. As God instructed me to build and setup these groups, which not only covers addiction but many other hurts Incest, porn, adultery, depression, life after divorce whatever your surfing is Jesus can give you an answer . This book is written for all pastors, leaders, outreach ministers, and people who care and want to help God’s children.

The Lord has laid it upon my heart to help churches set up support groups and recovery teams, using God’s three basic principles for healing.

The Spirit of the Lord is on me, because he has anointed me to proclaim good news to the poor. He has sent me to proclaim freedom for the prisoners and recovery of sight for the blind, to set the oppressed free (Luke 4:18 New International Version).

The Theology of Christian Recovery

The primary distinction that differentiates Christian recovery from other approaches to life change lies in our approach to spirituality. Here are some of the major theological tenants of the Christian approach to recovery:

1.   Recovery is truly Christian only if God is part of it. This God is not just a nebulous Higher Power, but rather is the creator of the universe who has revealed himself in the Bible. Additionally, this God is a loving God, who showed his love by sending his son, Jesus Christ, into this fallen world to save us (John 3:16).

2.   The Word of God is the authoritative rule and guide for our recovery. We believe there is, indeed, some objective truth in this world and that it is revealed in the Holy Scriptures (Hebrews 4:12).
