Acknowledgements
I appreciate and thank my precious wife and co-labourer—Rev (Mrs) Yinka Odunayo. This book is the product of her support, encouragement and untiring labour.–
The same goes for my beloved children for their cooperation and patience throughout the period of putting this book together.
My appreciation also goes to Mrs ‘Desola Subair, my daughter and secretary whose transcription of my messages on tape inspired my writing this book.
The members of the Chapel of Victory Int’l Churches deserve a special acknowledgement. You have given me the opportunity to serve the Lord and to get fulfillment in ministry. Without you, the message in this book would not have come. Thank you so much.
I would also like to appreciate my friends, Pastor Adeniyi Daniel, Pastor Lanre Adeboye, Rev Dr. Kunle Salami for their encouragements and support. Special appreciation goes to Mrs Dupe Ajayi, our beloved family friend, who did the final editing of this work. I say a big thank you for speedy work and valuable contributions.
I cannot but thank all the pastors, ministers, deacons and deaconesses of the Chapel of Victory Int’l Churches. Thank you and keep the flag flying.
Above all, my gratitude goes to my Shepherd, the Almighty God, who is the initiator and Perfecter of this book. To Him be glory and honor, for ever and ever, Amen.

Preface
A WORD FROM THE AUTHOR
The secret of success and abundance in life is to make the Lord Jesus Christ our Shepherd. The Shepherd is the one that leads and takes care of the sheep, and God, as our shepherd, will lead and take care of us for as long as we give Him the chance.
In Gen. 12:1-3, God called and instructed Abram as his Shepherd and Abram obeyed and followed Him. The result of that obedience was fantastic; he became great and prosperous.
God will make a great nation out of any man who obeys Him and follows Him. He will shepherd him and lead him to great abundance and peace.
Don’t hold on to the news around you or to men’s opinion of you. Don’t believe men’s report but key-in to the shepherd and your life will be abundantly enriched.
There is abundance of power available in God to the believer who knows him as his shepherd and, as our shepherd; he leads us to experience his miracles and blessings.
This book looks at the lives of men like David, Abraham, Isaac, Sarah, Joshua, and Jehoshaphat, how they followed the shepherd and the blessings they received. It also shows where some of them missed God and the consequences.
The book also unveils the keys to releasing the power of God to our lives and the blessings and increase available in the Lord Jesus as our shepherd.
Read on and be blessed.

THE
SHEPHERD
"The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want . . ."
Psalm 23:1
Life is full of choices and a man must decide for himself what choice he makes. There is no force about this—You choose what type of house you live in, what type of car to ride in (or own), what friends to keep etc. The list is endless. For every choice a man makes in life, there are consequences, fall-outs, benefits etc and the man who makes the choice must bear the responsibility
