    Introduction

Poetry is a means of communication. A sure way to express budding thoughts and muses to the reading and listening masses. I have always found my voice of expression in poetry as presented in this book—THE STRANGE VOICE.

To make my voice more understandable, I choose to write mostly in free verse form which gives me unrestricted liberty to clearly purge out my inner muse without having to observe so many rules like rhymes and meters guiding other forms of poetry. This is what you are about to come across in this book and many other forms of poetry including rhyming and even some specific meters. Most poems in this collection are metaphorically enriched.

The author has carefully inputs some insightful comments as footnotes for some poems considered to be obscure or very eventful for easier comprehension. You will surely be happy with yourself having to read this collection titled ‘The Strange Voice’. You will also have the pleasure to read different poems based on eight amazing and interesting themes.
