Believe and Receive

About this ebook
It is all about our personal relationship with God and how to tap into His kingdom. Meditating on the Word of God is the main focus of this book as we discover that to pray is to be in continuous conversation with our Creator, and this dialogue allows us to stay connected to heaven.
I have clarified a few concepts commonly used in sermons with very little explanations from preachers. My life changed when God closed a few doors and pushed me into my purpose. I was preoccupied with life, never finding the time to focus on God and my calling in life.
This book allows you to change your mind-set, to think differently, to belief and receive the promises of God. As we are all children of the Most High, we must seek him daily.

I dedicate this book to my late mother, Sybil Chrissie
Marongo, who went to heaven way too soon,
she lost her battle with breast cancer
when she was 42 years old.
Her words of wisdom will always echo in my heart.
She used to say: Don’t worry about tomorrow, because tomorrow will look after itself.
A very courageous woman who practised what she preached. She believed that, if you do good unto others today, it will open doors for your children tomorrow.
INTRODUCTION
About two years ago, I recommitted myself to serving the Lord and I came across many biblical concepts that I did not understand or grasp at the time. After some research and by studying the bible, listening to sermons from different pastors I finally discovered the meaning of terms/words like Know who you are Christ to name but one.
This book is to help assist others who are starting or is already on their journey to tap into the promises of God through faith.
When we seek a personal relationship with God Our Creator, things start to change, our mindset change.
It is written that man shall not live by bread alone, but by every Word of God. Luke 4:4.
Not all of us want to, or is keen to attend bible school, be it evening classes or full time. Life is a rush and if we want to discover our purpose we must spend time with Our Heavenly Father. Every free time you have, for example, your lunch break is an opportunity to learn more about Our Creator. There is no time limit to spend with our Lord Jesus Christ. It can be anytime of the day.
With the gospel now available in almost every form, television, CD’s, DVD’s, books, all these are helpful and good, but all these cannot replace the time you spend with Jesus Christ.
Sermons give you bits and pieces what you need, but when you study the Word, the Holy Spirit will reveal it to you.
Our Lord’s promises are hidden in the bible and we will only get a revelation of the word by spending time with Jesus and ask Him for guidance.
When we regard something as vital in our life that we cannot go without for example, using some medication to control blood pressure, we will make sure we
