The Silly Little Thing Called Love

About this ebook
In a world that sells the idea of fairy tales and happily ever afters, many of us spend our dating lives looking for our Prince Charmings or Cinderellas. The first blush of a new romance can make things seem perfect. Then reality eventually enters the picture, and we are forced to realize that more often than not, we end up with happily never afters.
In The Silly Little Thing Called Love, author Jacob S. Duvall guides you through the tactics to start with a good dating life and end with a great marital life. Youll learn to understand the importance of a solid commitment to God and how it relates to your everyday relationships. Discover how to form a mind-set that helps you become the right one rather than continually looking for the right one. Most of all, Duvall shows how important it is to rethink what culture has taught you about relationships and refocus instead on what Christ has to say about them.
Living a Christ-filled life does not mean you cant have an active dating life. But in The Silly Little Thing Called Love, youll learn how to spend that time developing the skills needed for a true happily ever after.

Foreword
O ver the years, I’ve fielded many questions about young people and dating, so I’m always looking for a comprehensive and anointed guide dealing with all of the dating decisions they face. Frankly, I don’t have all the answers, but I know that Jesus Christ, through the blood that He poured out, is the answer.
Thus it was great to find out about The Silly Little Thing Called Love by Pastor Jacob Duvall. It is a tremendous resource for young people, filled with important information and instruction that they need but are sometimes embarrassed to ask others. I believe this book is valuable and important.
You should read this book voraciously and use it when you face the pitfalls and speed bumps in relationships. Pastor Jacob espouses a tremendous prescription that captured my complete attention.
Every reader will find help to answer the many questions that youth have about relationships, dating, and the future mate that God may have for them.

Growing up is difficult when you are trying to be an example. I noticed in high school that sex was now at the center of everyone’s attention. It was something you had to have lots of or you were a failure. I knew it was wrong, but I have to say, it was tough for me to stand my ground because I am human. Once I really grasped and held onto the fact that I was planted on the Rock and put all my trust in Jesus Christ, the things that
