When God Found Man

Man was lost, when God found man, but God is never lost.

I was just a country boy, one who did not know anything, but God took me to the highest place. I did not know that I would be able to make it, for my life was hard, but the Lord was with me. He took me all the way from my homeland, from my family and friends, and gave me the best things in the world: my wife, and our five lovely daughters and ten grandchildren. Remember this, God is my best thing, and my wife is my good thing. Thanks to God and to you.

I tried to be a singer, but that was not for me. When you go off and try to do it on your own, it will not work. I was trying to sing for the devil, but the Lord knew the road I was taking would kill me. If we follow the path that God leads us to, we will not go wrong. Remember that God knows the right way to go. My way was not the way of God; he knew the way that I should take. I then wanted to follow God’s way. My desire is to preach the word of God and to teach men and women how much God loves us so we don’t have to give up and hang our head down. Let us look up to the Master. Don’t lean upon yourself; lean on God alone for all your needs. I tried to be a singer, but that was not for me.

Preface

Forward in the Spirit Church of God was founded on October 10, 1990.

The Church took off like a jet.

God has been very good to us.

We started this Church with zero members.

I started my preaching on, the sidewalk in a drug infested area, and my members were the policemen who parked on the sidewalk, listening to me.

And my family sings, and I preaching, I believe that God wanted to take us to higher heights in him.

Forward in the Spirit Radio broadcast was founded on September 1, 1995.

By reverent Gifford M. Rodney,

I was lying in bed sick with the flu.

While lying there, the Lord spoke to me.

He said, rise up and go down to the Radio station, and start up your Radio program, I replied by saying, but Lord, I am sick.

He did not reply, why? You see God will not argue with you.

Then I said to him, I don’t have any money.

All I have, to my name, in the bank was one hundred forty dollars $140.00.

I had a light bill of two hundred eighty dollars $280.00.

And other bills and I was sick, and was not able to work.

I did not see how I could do that, but again the Lord did not reply.

I got up out of bed still sick, and weak, I did not get any more money.

I went down to the Radio station, and he gives me, so much strength to preach that day, I preached nine sermons without stopping, nine fifteen minutes, sermons on tape, God healed me that very day.

I took out the $140.00 and paid for the first month.

Since that day the Lord has been taking care of me, and the, Radio program.

He is still paying my bills, and I have not been sick since then.

In addition, he has given me a house paid for, and a car paid for.

God told me these words: he said, I give you members in the body to profit with.

The eyes need the ears; the eyes need the nose; the eyes need the mouth; the eyes need the head; the ears need the hands; the ears need the feet the ears need the uncomely parts. The mouth needs the eyes; the mouth needs the ears; the mouth needs the nose; the mouth needs the head; the mouth needs the hands; the mouth needs the feet; the mouth, even needs the uncomely parts.

The head needs the eyes; the head needs the mouth; the head need the hands; the head needs the feet; the head needs even the uncomely parts.

The hand needs the eyes; the hand, need the ears; the hand needs the nose; the hand needs the mouth; the hand needs the head; the hand needs the feet; the hands need even the uncomely parts.

The feet need the eyes; the feet need the ears; the feet need the nose; the feet need the mouth; the feet need the hands; the feet need the head; the feet need even the uncomely parts.

The uncomely parts need the eyes; the uncomely parts need the mouth; the uncomely parts need the mouth; the uncomely parts need the hands.

The uncomely parts need the head; the uncomely parts need the feet; the body needs the eyes; the body needs the ears; the body needs the hands; the body needs the head; the body needs the feet; the body needs even the uncomely parts. We need each other.

Then God said unto me, I give you five senses.

I said yes.

He said I put four in the head.

I said, yes.

He said the vision is in the head.

He said I put the hearing in the head.

He said, I put the ability to smell in the head, tasting is in the head, but I put feeling all over the body.

Then he said unto me, I put nine members in the body of Christ, which is the Church on the earth.

1 Corinthians 12:7-10.

The manifestation of the spirit is given to every man to profit with all.

For to one is given by the Spirit the word of wisdom.

To another the word of knowledge, by the same spirit,

To another faith by the same Spirit, to another the working of miracle, to another the gift of healing, to another prophecy, to another discerning of Spirit to another diver kind of tongues to another the interpretation, of tongues, these are the nine members in the body of Christ, for us to profit from.
