Still - without motion or sound, calm, tranquil, quiet.
In the bustle of our day to day life it is often difficult to find the stillness where we hear God’s voice. If we are to hear from Spirit we need give Spirit opportunity. It is not that Oneness of the universe isn’t in touch with us, encouraging and upholding us, but that we are oblivious.
Your author does not do well with loud noises, negative energies, and flashing lights; so TV is never on, the CD player is rarely used, ring tones are muffled and angry people are kept at bay. I am hyper-sensitive to my environment so keep things low key. Instead, I enjoy the purring of my cat, the chortles of grandson, gentle conversations and the call of the ravens over this rural area in which I dwell. I am retired, living on an island, puttering in the garden,
