From The Side Of The Road
missing image fileRaindrops’
Drops in a pond
Like bolts of energy
Ripples shoot out
Perfect little circles
Until dispersing
Unseen by the naked eye
Raindrops
Bouncing
Over and under each other
Musical notes
Played by an unseen symphony
As thunder gently rolls overhead

missing image fileEternally Yours’
I think of you most all the time,
Your loving soul intertwined with mine,
Your raven hair, your moist red lips,
The gentle touch of your fingertips.
Yours eyes behold a man as I,
In Love with you throughout all time,
In past we’ve met, we’ve loved and died,
To be reborn another time.
The crusades did keep us far apart,
Till in due time we did hold court.
Then off to the new world we met once more,
On a three mast ship and distant shores.
A wagon train west, in a prairie schooner,
Through wild new lands, I held your hands.
I bid farewell on a train headed east,
To foreign lands, to keep the peace.
Throughout all time,
Starting always as friends,
Two conjoined spirits,
A love that never ends.
As in the past I ask you this,
A small request, please don’t resist,
To be my bride throughout all time,
By saying yes—
Just one more time.

Hopes’
So many nights I lay alone,
In wonder and dismay,
If a love would ever come,
To fill my each and everyday?
I would hold you close within my dreams,
And whisper loving things.
While holding hands, I’d stop and stare,
Into your loving eyes.
To whisper this,
With just one kiss,
How much,
I love you dear.
