About this ebook

The poems that the LORD has been inspiring me to write have been of the types that invite the readers to come and submit their lives unto Christs Lordship. This is the only way to fit into the plan of GOD for each persons life so that one can begin living life to the fullest. It is therefore my prayer and expectation that these poems will stir up the reader to take that first step of receiving the LORD Jesus Christ as Saviour or for those already in the Kingdom of GOD, that these poems will encourage you to remain firm in your belief. When you have finished reading these poems and you experience the soothing blessing of the LORD, please, pass it on to a friend before you put it idly on the shelf.

    HALLELUJAH TO MY KING

    IT IS THE LORD’S DOING

    WHAT IS YOUR CLQ?

    TO TRUST GOD MORE

    THE FULL MEASURE OF LIFE

    LANDMARK ON THE HORIZON

WHAT WE LOSE WHEN WE WORRY

THE LORD HAS DECIDED TO APPOINT YOU!

    GOD’S WORD!

    GOD’S MACHO MAN

BEGIN YOUR DAY WITH JESUS CHRIST

    WE DRIFT, HE DRIFTS NOT

    WHEN FEELING DOWN

BEING OKAY LEADS NOT TO SALVATION

    TO BE AN OVERCOMER

    DO YOUR BEST

    PREFACE

Writing poems came to me literally out of the blues. It started during a visit to Nigeria sometimes around 1994. I was in the Spirit and started to ask GOD how it is that certain expertsproduce masterpieces in their areas of expertise. Some of the questions that I posed to the LOD are: How is it that ministers come up with sermons from one Sunday to the next? How is it that musical stars come up with different tunes so regularly? The LORD gave me a straightforward answer: They sit down and meditate and focus their mind on what their calling is. Well, I discussed further with the LORD and then asked, How do I apply this simple answer to writing poetry for You? The LORD said, Sit down and focus your mind on what goes through the mind of a called poet. To regard myself as a called poet is too unreal, because, although I have enjoyed the poetic language of Book of Psalm, I don’t recall ever having written a single poem before. Nevertheless, I took the LORD at His word. When I did, the LORD revealed to me the first poem that I recall ever writing. The LORD showed me that prejudice against people of a different skin color is shallowness of mind, because below the skin all human beings are equal. The poems that the LORD has been inspiring me to write have been of the types that invite the readers to come and submit their lives unto Christ’s Lordship. This is the only way to fit into the plan of GOD for each person’s life so that one can begin living life to the fullest. It is therefore my prayer and expectation that these poems will stir up the reader to take that first step of receiving the LORD Jesus Christ as Savior or for those already in the Kingdom of GOD, that these poems will encourage you to remain firm in your belief. When you have finished reading these poems and you experience the soothing blessing of the LORD, please, pass it on to a friend before you put it idly on the shelf. GOD bless you.
