Linda Beecham a mother of two daughters and a Licensed Child Care provider. I enjoy teaching children and listening to some of the things that comes out of the mouths of children. They can say some of the funniest things. I wrote this book 18 years ago and decided to put it in print this year. It is so timely to the current economical state of our country. We fi nd ourselves being creative in explaining to our children why certain holidays will not be as special as they were before because of certain life changes such as job loss or lack of fi nances. I have experienced somewhat similar situations during the holidays in raising my two daughters. Children are naturally imaginative, creative, full of love and understanding. They can take what we think to be unfortunate and see the good in the circumstance. Helping them to utilize what they have and share it with others will make a lasting impression in the lives of children.
