I'm Just Sayin: Lessons on Life, Love and Faith
()
About this ebook
You must purchase this long awaited book! This is a woman of valor and I have professionally known her for over 3 years through her being an opening act for our show “Conscious Comedy Explosion!” and for performing her phenomenal poetry to our audience.
Not only does she awake the crowd with her talent for breathing life into words but she makes your spirit jump to attention to get the “Word” that God wants you to hear. She is amazing! Pretina is currently working on doing comedy for our shows. Her poetry is thought provoking and her sense of humor about life is exciting. I wish Pretina McNeil the best success with her upcoming book.

---------------------------------------------
The thought provoking poetry of this book will have you asking questions. Questions that are relevant in our walk with Christ. Such as, how much further would we if we stopped living for ourselves and started living to fulfill God's purpose in our life? It also has an empowering effect causing us to stand firm in our belief that our Heavenly Father is guarding, protecting, and seeing to our need. So what do we have to worry about? However, the ups and downs, frustration, and aggravations are needed to sculpt us from a diamond in the rough into a gleaming fully faceted gem that shines brightly. I believe that Pretina has written a poetry book that is inspiring, challenging, and can be a step by step guideline to walking out your destiny. I hope you enjoy it as much as I have.

"The poetry of Ms. Pretina McNeil is simplistically classy with an urban edge that challenges the senses of the soul. You will go from laughter to introspective thoughts that ask and answer questions from a real place of honesty. As you read you are sure to be absolutely BLESSED!
Pastor Cedric Baltrip

I'm just saying... Lessons on life, Love and Faith, is a refreshing collection of invigorating words of hope, love, peace and joy. Through our trials and tribulations that have turned into triumphs a praise of adoration towards our Lord is fitting. This book is full of spirit led poetry. Sit back and fasten your seat belt, as you open this book, you truly will declare that the Lord is good."

Make me Great I Am
I`ve been pounced upon; all my joy is gone, Can`t see the forest for the trees
I`ve been crying out; lived with fear and doubt Dear God would You help me please!
I have no regrets, but just can`t forget, how he took my virginity
I`ll except the past and ignore the laughs, all these things helped to make T.
You know I`m used to folding ya’ll, When I wanna cry; He gives a new song
Put my life all up in these poems, Satan tried to kill me, but Jesus came to heal me
So make me, Great I Am, I have given my all, so make me, Great I Am, and help me up when I fall.
True I`m older now; yes much bolder now, hair and clothes don`t define me
No one telling me how to pray or preach how to give more cheerfully
I`m on solid ground, I`ve been lost and found, you got questions ask G-o-d
And I`m confident, I`m my own best friend, This is how I flow, cause I`s be free.
You know I`m used to folding yall, when I wanna cry, He gives a new song
Put my life all up in these poems, Satan tried to kill me; But Jesus came to heal me
So make me, Great I Am, I have given my all, so make me, Great I Am, and help me up when I fall.
I`ve been behind the eight ball, been behind the eight ball, Don`t you know I can only live free, and I can only be T. It`s all or nothing at all, all or nothing at all.
So make me, Great I Am, I have given my all, so make me, Great I Am, help me up when I fall.
Today
Today I was awakened by the gentle touch of His hand.
Today I was once again reminded that no matter how many times I fall short,
He has supplied the mercy and power to stand.
Today I will rejoice, because that is my first weapon of choice
Today my worship will silence Satan`s voice
Today I will cast down and take captive those accusations that fill my head;
All by meditating on what the word of God has already said.
Today I will agree that Father knows best.
Today I will receive his sufficient grace and enter into His rest.
Today
You Love Me
You love me, You love me, I know that You do
You love me, You love me, and I so love You too.
You love me, You love me, I know this to be absolute truth
For You love me, And your death on the cross was living proof.
You love me, You love me, what else can I say ?
You adore me more than El Debarge, and love me in a special way
You love me; You love me so much I just wanna cry
You love me, and allow me to live when I just wanna lay down and die
You love me, You love me, from Your heart as well as from Your hand
Your love invited me to feast at your table,
When I should have been rummaging through a garbage can
You love me; You loved me in the midst of my mess
You held me close and would not let go
And all to ensure that I didn`t forfeit your best
You love me; You love me, even unto the death
You nailed my sins to the cross, and resuscitate me
When I feel I am about to take my last breath
You love me, You love me and with this passion, I want to be acquainted
You love me unconditionally
Even while I was rebellious and ever so tainted;
You love me, You love me and I know this fully well
You Jesus my Author and Finisher, loved me so much
That You gave me a story to tell.
Why does it hurt so bad?
Why does it hurt so bad?
How could the thing which once made me so happy
Is now making me so
