About this ebook
The book is written to encourage and strengthen the wives of pastors everywhere. It is a reminder to us all that the battle is not oursits the Lords. Being in ministry is not easy, but with Gods help, all things are possible. In this book, there are topics about the pastors wife, her role, her abilities, her influence, and her value. It continues by highlighting how the pastors wife is perceived in the eyes of others, and more importantly, it shows how God sees her.
This book will reveal the heart of the pastor-husbands and why they have such a passion for the work they do as well as why they need their wives to be by their side. It will also give insight into the emotions and feelings of pastors wives and why they do what they do.
This book can be used as a weapon or a tooldepending on how you use it. As you read, you will notice the use of scriptures throughout the work. These words of God will add a biblical perspective to the thoughts and observations discussed in these pages.
The scenarios that are highlighted in the book are presented as reference points by which to gauge your own situations.
A list of most of the embedded scriptures appears as a separate page in the book for your use as a reference guide.
Starr Neal
Starr Neal has been married to her pastor-husband for over forty-five years and has been by his side in ministry for more than thirty years. Together, they pastor a church in San Jose, California, that has a very culturally diverse congregation. They have three adult children and four grandchildren. Starr is a writer not only of books but of songs, poetry, and other inspirational words as well. She is also a gospel singer and has written the lyrics and performed several of her own songs, which have been published and recorded on CDs. This book is the second one that Starr has written. The first one is titled Sunday Morning Words of Inspiration under Rose Dog Books, a division of Dorrance Publishing. Starr has been called upon many times to speak to various women’s groups and at other church events on the subject of being a godly woman. Starr will be the first to tell you that even though she has many years of experience being the wife of a pastor, she is still learning. She is a pastor’s wife extraordinaire!

DEDICATION
This book is dedicated to all the women of God who stand in the position of a pastor’s wife. To all those women who uphold their husbands every step of the way in their ministries, I say to you, Hang in there!
I also dedicate this book to my sister-in-law, Beverly who, as a new pastor’s wife, motivated me to move forward in writing this book so that she could have a guide to which she could refer as she encountered different issues in the ministry with her husband.
Finally, I dedicate this book to my pastor-husband, Isaac, who allowed me the time and space to write about this, sometimes, touchy subject.
