Meet the Author Heather Lapadula is a Pre-k teacher living in Farimingdale New York with her husband Michael. She and her mother own and operate Building Blocks preschool in Oceanside New York since 2010. Heather has always enjoyed reading many stories to her students and has taken the opportunity to write a book of her own, and inspire her students to become authors or any other occupation they dream of having. Meet the Illustrator Marianna Skelton is a marketing manager living in Massapequa, New York with her husband Chris. She has always wanted to illustrate children’s books since she was just 8 years old. When her life long friend Heather asked her to illustrate this book, she was thrilled to live out her childhood dream. Marianna has always loved to draw and hopes to continue to illustrate many more children’s books in the near future.
