I am a Professional Cosmetologist and Instructor. I have taught cosmetology for twenty plus years and had the privilege of offering professional advice to others. I have been recognized by the Texas Cosmetology Board as a Master Instructor of Cosmetology and have owned and operated three multicultural beauty salons. I have worked with multiple clients, and had the privilege of taking care of their hair. I have taught and prepared students for passing state exams to become licensed professionals. Overall, my experience coupled with my education has prepared me with the knowledge to offer guidance and professional advice to others. ABOUT THE AUTHOR

Hello my name is Essie Moore, a licensed Professional Cosmetologist and Instructor. I have been in the cosmetology industry for twenty plus years, and I am committed to helping others find solutions to their hair care problems. In 1986, after completing my training in cosmetology, I continued my education by receiving an Associate of Applied Science Degree in Cosmetology from Paris Junior College. I earned my Bachelors of Applied Arts & Science Degree from Southeastern Oklahoma State University and completed my Master’s Degree in Education, with an emphasis on Leadership of Educational Organizations in 2008. I later enrolled in a program required for completing an Educational Doctorates Degree.
