Dedication
As I was writing this book, I was thinking of the many people down through the years that have helped me with my bi-polar disorder. Some of these people have been those I have met when I was hospitalized. However, most are my family members.
My wife, Barbara, has always tried to stick by me even when she didn’t understand what was going on. My three children, Deborah, Stacie and Stephen have always tried to support me when they could. My daughters have done the computer work for me on this project. My mother has also been deeply affected by my disorder but has always been there for me.
I also want to thank my brother, Buddy and my two sisters, Sharon and Mary for continuing to support me.
I have been dealing with bi-polar disorder for over 40 years now. It is not just a personal disorder, it is a family one too. Everyone near you is affected.
Last but not least, I want to thank the Lord Jesus Christ. Through His Holy Spirit, He has picked me up and encouraged me to keep on trying.
Thanks to all of you, even those I haven’t mentioned.
Introduction
Bi-polar Heaven and Hades is a result of over 40 years of dealing with this disorder. When you have dealt with it this long, you are able to see the symptoms and recognize them in others. It is my hope that this book reaches these people and helps them recognize the symptoms.
It is also my hope, that families who have a member that is bi-polar will read this book and have a better idea what their family member is dealing with.
