Professor Tapan K. Chaudhuri

Professor Tapan K. Chaudhuri, MD, FACP, FACNM, Nuclear Medicine Physician and Spiritual Disciple, earned his medical degree from University of Calcutta. He received his internship and residency training from Pittsburgh Southside Hospital and West Virginia University Medical Center respectively. He received his training in nuclear medicine from Yale University and University of Iowa. After serving as Assistant Professor of Radiology at the University of Iowa and as Associate Professor of Internal Medicine at Eastern Virginia Medical School, he became full Professor of Radiology at Eastern Virginia Medical School. He authored and co-authored about 200 publications in various national and international medical and scientific journals including several book chapters. He served our nation’s heroes, the veterans, as Chief, Nuclear Medicine at Hampton VAMC and taught nuclear medicine to medical students of EVMS for nearly 41 years. He chaired scientific sessions and presented papers at international conferences in Moscow, Glasgow, and Paris. In addition to his work in the materialistic science, he also studied and learned spiritual science under spiritual Gurus – Sri Taposh K. Chowdhury and Srimati Bulu R. Chowdhury. Some of the contents of this book came from his knowledge and wisdom acquired after seeing the lights of heaven and hearing the voices of God in his near-death experience during 21 days of coma resulted from septic shock of a severe small pox infection.
