This book quotes scripture verses from the Bible and illustrates what the verses that God inspired to be written might mean so that children might have a better understanding. Ministers give sermons that give the understanding of the verses, but use grown-up terms. Many children do not understand and are therefore bored during those sermons. Allow this book to assist you in helping your child/children understand what Jesus is all about in a voice they will understand.

When you walk with God, His words in the Bible will guide and comfort you when you are happy or sad. All you have to do is talk to God. He will lead you if you will let Him.

"A Radical Sacrifice" is being published on the heels of "Strategy Murders" simply because Jean enjoys writing and being creative. Since her husband retired, he has become an avid golfer which gives Jean private time to concentrate on making her characters come alive for her readers. The time she spends with her husband when at home involves watching movies while sharing a "large" bowl of popcorn. They also enjoy camping, but leave their two dogs and two cats at home in the care of a "sitter". Evenings spent in front of a wood fire provides the time for Jean and her husband to share and communicate as they believe this is what keeps their marriage healthy and loving. Currently they are planning an eighteen-day cruise in October that will include spending time enjoying the beauty of the Hawaiian Islands. Much of the time will be spent on the ocean and Jean hopes to begin her next book in the series she has created.

Preface

For every single one who knows Jesus Christ as his or her personal Savior, there is one that is a lost sheep. There are several reasons for those who are lost, but the two most common are: 1) that it is chosen by an individual not to believe and 2) the love of our Lord for him or her has not been shared nor has the story of Christ’s birth from a virgin’s womb, His life, His miracles, His suffering and crucifixion, and His final conquering of death as He rose to live again.

There are many verses in the Bible that can be illustrated; however, I chose the few you will hopefully find meaningful in the following pages. I say I chose, but the choosing was not done by me. As
