This book is a series of testimonies I experienced orchestrated by God. Psalms 37:23 said, The steps of a good man are ordered by the Lord: and he delighteth in his way. It is amazing how God direct every step I took through my journey in a strange land (for me)USA. Virtually, God took away everything I have to legally find a job here in America. All my legalities, credentials, documents were gone forever. Nevertheless, whoever I am nowas a permanent US resident along with my family and working in one of the prestigious laboratory companiesare all Gods orchestration. I believe that God wants to show his power through the life of incapable, undocumented, and unwinged to soar like an eagle.

Myrna L. Rodriguez

My name is Myrna L. Rodriguez. I live in 41011 Chambord Drive, Lake Elsinore, California 92532. Philippines is my native land. I virtually grew up there. I am a medical technologist by profession. I work as a clinical laboratory scientist in Quest Diagnostics Inc. in California. I am an independent Christian believer attending a small local independent church, Cornerstone Christian Church, in Temecula, California. Thirty-three years ago, I married Alfredo C. Rodriguez. I have three grown-up kids and one granddaughter. My eldest is Christine R. Guerrero, married, with one daughter named Estel Guerrero. My second child is Alfredo L. Rodriguez Jr., who joined the US Army and is now deployed in Korea. My youngest child is Christiane L. Rodriguez, who is still in college, taking up bachelor of science degree in medical technology in one of the universities in the Philippines.

I ’d like to dedicate this book to my dad, Severiano Laovinia, and to my mom, Otelia Laovinia. They are the ones who molded and raised me to fear God, which is the very foundation of my faith. They were the instruments God used to pass on the Christian faith to me and to my next generation. From the time my simple mind as a kid was developing, I have already been listening to my mom discuss the word of God. She was the first among the family called by God. It took long years before my dad followed. But the three of us, their children, had no choice but to listen to my mom’s daily sermon, but we enjoy listening, though. Somehow, during those formative stages, the seed (word of God) was planted in our simple minds and hearts, and then we began to love God until we became adult and faithfully serve him wherever we go. That solid and firm foundation was the starting point of my journey with God, which is the very basis of this book that I want to share to all of you. Everything I wrote in this book is for the glory of God.

Also, I am writing this book for my kids and my husband. My eldest is Christine R. Guerrero, who is married to a pastor, Rev. Hope Jordan Guerrero. My second child is Alfredo L. Rodriguez Jr., who joined the US army. My youngest is Christiane L.
