About this ebook

This unique compendium could not have come at a better time than now, when many parts of the world are struggling to resolve their stability and security issues in an avalanche of crisis and violence that is rooted in the absence of divine presence.

Each chapter is carefully developed with spiritual-based experiences in Gods own vineyard. Chapter after chapter, the author seeks to help the reader to grow in intimacy with God by believing in God, seeking him, knowing God, pleasing him, and serving God.

The chapters conclude with chapter seven on the blessings of divine presence, which is the ultimate goal.

Following the prescription in this book would deliver every reader from fear and strengthen your spirit man in your walk with God.

For if God be for us, who can be against us? (Romans 8:31)

Indeed, I strongly recommend this book as complimentary literature for family retreat, students groups, Bible schools, and matured Christians desirous to sustain their walk with God and their lives with the divine presence for the fulfillment of their glorious destinies. Shalom.

    Foreword

    I am highly privileged to be requested to write the foreword on ‘Enjoying Divine Presence’. This unique compendium couldn’t have come at a better time than now when our land is struggling to resolve its stability and security in an avalanche of crisis that is rooted by the absence of ‘Divine Presence’.

    Each Chapter is carefully deployed with spiritually based experience in God’s own vineyard. In Chapter One, the book detailed the fundamentals of believing God even as we sojourn in this planet. It shows the mandatory requirement to Divine Presence that is required to sustain our intimacy with God. The Second Chapter lays out principles of ‘Seeking God’. This also is proceeded by Knowing God and equips one towards intimacy with the Almighty God after seeking Him.

    In Chapter Four, the concept of faith in God is adequately covered. This is the fulcrum under which God is pleased with our relationship. ‘Without faith it is impossible to Please God’. In the Fifth Chapter, the value and indices of Praising God are exhaustively presented. It is an injunction that we are called to give sacrifices of praise to God continually (Heb. 13:15-16). Of interest is that Thanksgiving is an integral component of Praise God expects of His Children (Psalms 69:30). This chapter is exciting knowing that in the course of praising God we learn how to serve Him as elucidated in the Sixth Chapter; "You shall serve the Lord your God and He shall bless your bread and water, and I will take sickness away from the midst of thee. No one shall suffer miscarriage or be barren in the land. I will fulfill the number of your days’. Ex 23:25,26(NIV)

    There are no level of insurance premium that can guarantee such divine benefits fulfilling your prescribed days as ordained by God.

    The book concludes with Chapter Seven on the Blessings of Divine Presence which is the ultimate goal. This is clearly captured by one of the most important prophecies in the bible that completely changed the world at its declaration: Isaiah 9:6-8 ‘For unto us a Child is born, unto us a Son is given, and the government shall be upon His shoulders and He shall be called Wonderful Counsellor, Almighty God, the Everlasting Father and the Prince of Peace’.

    Indeed, I strongly recommend this book as complimentary literature for family retreat, Student groups and matured Christians desirous to sustain their lives with Divine Presence.

    Shalom.

    Prologue

    "When Israel went out of Egypt, the house of Jacob from a people of strange language;

    Judah was his sanctuary, and Israel his dominion. The sea saw it, and fled: Jordan was driven back.

    The mountains skipped like rams, and the little hills like lambs.

    What ailed thee, o thou sea, that thou fleddest? Thou Jordan, that thou wast driven back?

    Ye mountains, that ye skipped like rams; and ye little hills, like lambs?

    Tremble, thou earth, at the presence of the God of Jacob; which turned the rock into a standing water, the flint into a fountain of waters." Psalms 114:1-8

    "Preserve me, o God: for in thee do I put my trust.

    O my soul, thou hast said unto the Lord, thou art my Lord: my goodness extendeth not to thee;

    But to the saints that are in the earth, and to the excellent, in whom is all my delight.

    Their sorrow shall be multiplied that hasten after another god: their drink offerings of blood will I not offer, nor take up their names into my lips.

    The Lord is the portion of mine inheritance and of my cup: thou maintainest my lot.

    The lines are fallen unto me in pleasant places; yea, I have a goodly heritage.

    I will bless the Lord, who hath given me counsel: my reins also instruct me in the night seasons.

    I have set the Lord always before me: because He is at my right hand, I shall not be moved.

    Therefore my heart is glad, and my glory rejoiceth: my flesh also shall rest in hope.

    For thou wilt not leave my soul in hell; neither wilt thou suffer thine Holy one to see corruption.

    Thou wilt shew me the path of life: in thy presence is fullness of Joy; at thy right hand there are pleasures for evermore". Psalms 16:1-11.

    "O Lord, thou hast searched me, and known me.

    Thou knowest my downsitting and mine uprising, thou understandest my thought afar off.

    Thou compassest my path and my lying down, and art acquainted with all my ways.

    For there is not a word in my tongue, but, lo, thou knowest it altogether.
