About this ebook
Winston Bakker
As a result of my spiritual transformation, I have written this book to help others come to the knowledge of Jesus Christ. Additionally, having found great comfort in God’s Word, it is our hope that reading and following the things revealed in this book will bring you into a closer and more-intimate relationship with God. I have found that through the knowledge of God’s Son, Jesus Christ, lives can be transformed by his power. This book is therefore based on God’s Word as revealed in the Holy Bible and sound reasoning. Winston and Linda Bakker have been married for over twenty years and reside in the state of Florida with three grown daughters, Anika, Natasha, and Palesa, who reside out of state. They also have four grandchildren, Amani, Ameer, Nickolas, and Ashley. Linda and Winston are both Sunday school teachers at a local church and have been volunteers at the local jail and federal prison for many years.

CHAPTER ONE
DOES GOD EXIST?
This is a commonly asked question, but if not properly crafted could produce a misleading, and confusing answer. So a better way of rephrasing the question should be: is there a Supreme Being, who created all things and is sovereign over his creation? The answer is a resounding yes! God reveals himself by many infallible ways, but are we listening or are we too busily occupied with the affairs of this world, that we have lost sight of him in the process.
This question has been in the hearts and minds of many people over the centuries, and might even now be a lingering question in your own heart. How can we be sure that there is a Creator? The answer is revealed, if you have an honest heart, and are sincerely seeking the truth. Here is a quote from Deuteronomy 4:29, But if from thence thou shalt seek the Lord thy God thou shalt find him, if thou seek him with all thy heart and with all thy soul.
Because God cannot be seen, that is no reason to conclude that he does not exist. We do believe in things we cannot see. For example, would you deny there are hurricanes and tornadoes simply because you cannot see the wind? Do you have a heart? Have you ever seen it? There is a natural world and there is a spiritual world, both co-existing side by side. The spiritual is by far more important than the physical because it preceded it, and is not governed by time. Everything in this physical realm is governed by time, which is temporary and brings with it change. Every tick of the clock is one second of time that passes into eternity never to return. This fact is borne out if you have birthdays, or a mirror.
Here is how the unchangeableness of God is expressed in Hebrews 1:10-12, "And thou Lord in the beginning has laid the foundation of the earth; and the heavens are the works of thine hands, They shall perish but thou remainest: and they all shall wax old as doth a garment and as a vesture (sheet) thou shall fold them up, and they shall be changed, but thou art the same and thy years shall not fail." God’s dwelling place is eternity where nothing changes and everything remains the same. He is the same today as he was yesterday and will be the same tomorrow.
Have you ever done something wrong, then, you look around to see if someone had seen you? Now you are convinced that no other human being is aware of your action, but shortly after, as you are quietly by yourself a little voice from within convicts you of the wrong you committed. If this experience is true, was it because of your education, race, culture, nationality,
