About this ebook

Have you ever taken a moment to consider how many questions you answer or decisions you make each day? What should I eat? What shall I wear? Do I want a second cup of coffee? What is the weather like outside today? Is it time for bed yet?

But how many times a day do you make a single decision concerning your eternal well-being? Do you have any questions concerning your soul? How many times do you go to your Bible for the answers? You do know, God supplies everything we need to know about anything? I am just asking.

To God be the glory for all the sensationally awesome things He has done and will do!

    Acknowledgments

Before we embark upon this journey, I have

    to make a few acknowledgments.

First and foremost, I owe everything to the Almighty enthroned above. He is the ruler and Creator of everything. If not for His great mercy, there would be nothing at all! He has blessed me beyond belief and has allowed me to try my hand at writing. He is my very existence, my strength, my Rock, my fortress, and my salvation. The Lord God Almighty is the reason for this burning deep within my soul to see Him face-to-face. He is my longing. It is He whom I want to praise throughout all eternity. I have a woeful yearning in my very being to talk one-on-one with Him. I have so many questions for which only He can supply the answers.

I want to thank my earthly father for giving me a firsthand look at a true Christian life through his own example. He taught me how rich a person can be if he has Christ in his life. He taught me that a job worth doing is worth doing right and well, no matter how big or small that job is. My father never backs down from the truth. He stands steadfast for Christ’s church and never falters. He is the wisest man I have ever met.

I want to thank my mother. She is my strongest and hardest supporter. She is the reason I stepped out of my calm, small life and began this adventure. She is my encourager. She looks at the best in people and never tries to find fault in anyone. She is truly a Proverbs 31 woman. She has always stood firmly on the Truth, on her faith, and by her man, my father. She is the reason my father became a Christian in the first place. She is a fierce defender of family. Because of this, she is the reason I am a Christian.

Last, I want to thank a very special young lady, Makenna Bagwell. She is the creator of the amazing artwork contained within these pages. She has an incredible and outstanding talent that could only have come from God Almighty. She makes drawing, sketching, painting, and even doodling seem effortless. She has done some of the most amazing pictures I have ever seen anywhere. She has such sweet, gentle spirit. She will never know how blessed I am by the good Lord to have her in my life.

    Introduction

Do you believe God? Consider this: Jesus answered and said to him, ‘If anyone loves Me, he will keep My word; and My Father will love him, and We will come to him and make Our home with him. He who does not love Me does not keep My words; and the word which you hear is not Mine but the Father’s who sent me (John 14:23–24).

Do you even believe in God? Do you believe in a Supreme Being that created everything from nothing? Can you comprehend in your that with a wave of God’s hand, He set everything into motion, and that with a mere blink of His eye, He can stop the world as we know it? The fool has said in his heart, ‘There is no God.’ They are corrupt, they have done abominable works, there is none who does good (Psalm 14:1; Psalm 53:1). You believe that there is one God. You do well. Even the demons believe—and tremble (James 2:19)! I am the Alpha and the Omega, the Beginning and the End, the First and the Last (Revelation 22:13).

Do you believe in Jesus? Consider this: And He said to them, ‘You are from beneath; I am from above. You are of this world; I am not of this world. Therefore I say to you that you will die in your sins, for if you do not believe that I am He, you will die in your sins (John 8:23–24).

Do you understand that Jesus came to earth to live as a mortal human man and to be tempted and tried as we all are? Do you realize Jesus felt everything we feel, including cold, hunger, heat, pain, anxiety, frustration, and many other things? Seeing then that we have a great High Priest who has passed through the heavens, Jesus the Son of God, let us hold fast our confession. For we do not have a High Priest who cannot sympathize with our weaknesses, but was in all points tempted as we are, yet without sin (Hebrews 4:14–15).

Can you comprehend the magnitude of love and fortitude it took for Jesus as a mortal man to allow Himself to be put to death on the cross at Calvary? But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us (Romans 5:8). Husbands, love your wives, just as Christ also loved the church and gave Himself for her (Ephesians 5:25).

Do you realize Jesus died for the sins of the world, not just for one or two sins, and not just for friends and loved ones but for the whole world? Did He complain about it? Did He try to make excuses as to why He should or could not do it? For the love of Christ compels us, because we judge thus; that if One died for all, then all died; and He died for all, that those who live should live no longer for themselves, but for Him who died for them and rose again (2 Corinthians 5:14–15).

Do you believe there is a Holy Spirit? First Corinthians 2:12–13 states, Now we have received, not the spirit of the world, but the Spirit who is from God, that we might know the things that have been freely given to us by God. These things we also speak, not in words which man’s wisdom teaches but which the Holy Spirit teaches, comparing spiritual things with spiritual.

Do you know what the Holy Spirit does? Do you know how the Holy Spirit works? To them it was revealed that, not to themselves, but to us they were ministering the things which now have been reported to you through those who have preached the gospel to you by the Holy Spirit sent from heaven—things which angels desire to look into (1 Peter 1:12). Prophecy never came by the will of man, but holy men of God spoke as they were moved by the Holy Spirit (2 Peter 1:21).

Do you know that God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy
