Searching for a Servant's Heart

About this ebook
This book is a small glimpse into the experiences Timothy has had from a boy living on the beach in South Carolina to a Marine to a businessman. The paths of his life will eventually shake the foundations of his core to develop what has been called a true servant to all. The book has both the good and the bad moments that have changed his life and molded him to who he is today.
Timothy J. Miller
This is the first book that Timothy has written that is on a subject that he felt compelled to share. He has spent most of his 25 year career as a computer scientist and consultant for companies across the globe. In his personal time Timothy has always spent his life in the pursuit of helping others through the skills he was given. Timothy has volunteered in the disaster areas of Haiti and worked in the slums of the Dominican Republic to bring healthcare and education to the orphans as well as adults.

About the Author
This book is dedicated to the one person in my life who knows me for all my abilities and flaws, my failures and successes, yet still wanted to marry me anyway. Sheena is my inspiration, my muse. For all the times when she told me I should write a book, this is for her.
Love, Timothy
The Awakening

As I lay there, I started processing in my thoughts the phrase that was the source of my restlessness. It was almost like there was something in my head trying to force its way out. I left the warmth of my bed and crossed the hall to my office in an attempt to try to get the thoughts out of my head while they were still fresh.
Little did I know that several hours later I would still be franticly typing, trying desperately to get the words down as quickly as they appeared in my mind. This rabble I was typing would later prove to be words that resembled more of a window into my past than I had thought I would ever be prepared to explore. This thought of what a servant looks like resonated with my thoughts over and over again. I knew somehow this was something that was so important to complete that I would be compelled to finish.
I struggled for years with how to begin explaining my feelings each time I tried to share and talk about the stages of my life to people I would meet. I would have
