Life: Without the Rose Tinted Glasses

About this ebook
Tony L. Sellaway
Tony was fortunate enough to be raised as an “army brat.” He was able to live in and travel to several countries from an early age and even became multilingual. Living abroad, he was able to see the world from different points of view and he began to believe that “home” is wherever you are. Working his way through school, he began a journey which led him through many business industries and government work. He also studied and practiced many religions along the way. He would question why he had gone through so many different experiences until he ran across Gregg Braden and the light clicked! All of these lessons were to allow him to be able to meet most anyone and be able to speak with them from common ground.

FOREWORD
If you can’t explain it to a six year old, you don’t understand it yourself.
– Albert Einstein
This is my humble attempt to help others around me make some sense of their purpose or Life Experience. I have always sensed that I had a purpose; it just took several decades to figure it out. I then thought that I had to write something long and verbose to get that message out but most of my personal friends and authors are writers of children’s books and I think that the best expression is simple and short.
The most interesting information comes from children, for they tell all they know and then stop.
– Mark Twain
At first when deciding to write, I thought it was going to have to be voluminous to be a book
but then said it is better to be short and useful so that it can be applied in one’s life as they increase their consciousness.
Preach the Gospel at all times, and when necessary, use words.
– Francis of Assisi
This short writing is a synthesis of ideas and thoughts of some very bright Spirits and minds; particularly Dr. Wayne Dyer, Lao Tzu, Neville Goddard, Gregg Braden, Dr. Bruce Lipton, Dr. David R. Hawkins. MD. PHD., Darrell W. Ray, Ed.D., Ken Wilber, and Dr. Richard Dawkins.
I AM a student of Life, Love, People and The Universe. As I continue on this journey, my goal every day is to make someone smile. In each present moment I endeavor to see what I can or should be learning from all that is around me. I have found that the less I add into a situation and see it without adding prejudgments, the simpler and more beautiful each event becomes. I would like to make someone’s path easier, lighter, and more fulfilling and have them smile along the way. I am a teacher: I like to show a person where to look but not necessarily what to see. If you are a reader like me, I will read something and then after a period of time, I will read it again having gained some insight from the Life Experience. Many times I see something differently. That being said, I believe the reader will be better able to discern the point of a topic from their own level of understanding, as this is a multi-layered discourse.
I would like to offer a heartfelt thank you to my Inspirational Trinity, Fonda Fredericka (www.FondaFredericka.com)) Staci Tye (www.StaciTye.com) and Stephanie Richardson (www.StephanieRichardson.com) for their Light, guidance and encouragement.
When I was 5 years old, my mother always told me that happiness was the key to life. When I went to school, they asked me what I wanted to be when I grew up. I wrote down ‘happy’. They told me I didn’t understand the assignment, and I told them they didn’t understand life.
– John Lennon
THE SWEETEST SOUND TO ANY PERSON
What is sound? How does one receive the input called sound and how does one distinguish or interpret it? To be simplistic, let’s say that sound is a vibration at varying levels of frequency. So we could say that sound can be felt. Then what determines whether the sound is noise or pertinent information? Has someone been talking to you and then asked you, Did you hear me?
Now if it wasn’t something of interest to you, you might say your heard them, but you might not have been listening. That might be because it was not on your vibrational level at the current moment. At most moments in our daily lives, there are many sounds around us; we tend to filter them based on what we are doing, feeling or concentrating on at the time. At each present moment, we look at Life from our point of view. Now that point of view or state of
