About this ebook

Three powerful words can bring people together or split them apart. The man of nothing poured out his heart and may have just ended his paradise. Now with their love in doubt, a guardian angel can no longer hide a couples location from the shadow seeking to destroy them. This book has love, hate, jealously, and faith with a little twist of sci-fi. In this story, everyone strives for that perfect wish, but only one will have it granted.

    Introduction

    Welcome to Perfect Wish!

This is my twelfth book published and the fourth book in the Tomorrow’s Song saga. It’s hard to believe that six years have passed since my first book, Sorrow of Separation. I hope you enjoy my take on poetry with a story behind it.

Previously in Paradise Is Life, the Man of Nothing told his girlfriend, the Tomorrow Girl, the three most powerful words: I Love You. All hell broke loose as her reaction was not what he was expecting. With doubt now created, Crystal could no longer be able to hide their location from the Shadow. The relationship was on the rocks, and what’s worse was that now at their lowest point, the villain could strike.

Love is a tricky thing. We’ve all been there where our hearts are in torment. There are times when we fear the worst in a relationship. Emotions are a powerful thing. I hope you can relate to these characters as they’re put in real-life and fantasy situations.

    Cast of Characters

    The Man of Nothing

The Tomorrow Girl (the girlfriend with the umbrella)

    The Shadow (main enemy)

Slayer (friend of the Shadow and the assassin dressed in white)

Crystal (the angel, guardian, and protector of the Man of Nothing)

Purple (as her name implies, has purple hair and is the best friend of the Man of Nothing)

    The Muse (Purple’s friend)

    Haunted by Heart

Words from the heart can have the opposite effect.

Said too soon can create regret.

Surprised, I realize I may have doomed what we have.

Some things need time to bloom.

    Moments need to become memories.

Her rejection to my connection embarrasses my attempt.

You can’t rush what must be built.

Many years before, I lived in the rain.

Going from restless to relaxed, I didn’t want to go back.

Walking with no shame, just pride, I survived.

I poured out feelings, not holding back.

Once those words were said, I was dead.

    Uncertainty

Midnight scolds the broken man, weary of dignity, energy, and decision. It was too long of a day, and the night’s air stabbed at his youth. His schedule he did not keep, nor did his problems cooperate. Tensions grew as unforeseen issues corrupted his order in all things. Restless was his sleep, the mind calculated before a dilemma had surfaced. Everything must calm, everything must quiet, a body must heal. Why picture a morning if you never
