This books purpose is to serve as a primer regarding understanding the various sociological (and other areas of being human) origins upon male pornography use and addiction for the intent of getting the conversation started so as to promote healing in the lives of men struggling and/or enslaved to pornography. In truth, eradicating self- and community-destructive behavior cannot be realized unless the origins of a sinful or unlawful behavior are identified. Likewise, this book allows for the opportunity to develop an appropriate assessment of male pornography addiction and its origins in order for any individual, parent, therapist, pastor, or educator to develop a viable treatment plan to realize healing from a pornography addiction. Introduction

The need for writing this book is substantial in reference to social relevance. Today in the United States alone, the pornography industry has been estimated to be anywhere from ten to fifteen billion dollars a years in consumptive spending. Globally, the porn industry is estimated to be taking in almost 100 billion dollars a year in consumptive spending. The pornography industry is chiefly comprised of those participating in/or utilizing prostitution, escort services, strip clubs, pornographic magazines, videos, and Internet sites etc. for the purpose of achieving a number of spiritual, physiological, psychological, social and vocational needs. However, the focus of this book will be upon understanding the male pornographic heart and mind (ages:18-up) and what motivates addiction to pornography use – specifically: the perusing of Internet porn sites, pornographic videos or pornographic magazines for realizing spiritual, physiological, psychological, social and vocational needs. In addition, the analysis and commentary in this book regarding male pornography use and abuse is focused upon those male populations residing in the United States.

Ultimately, the writing of this book is for the purpose of achieving the goal of realizing healing for the male pornography user and/or addict. However, healing can only be realized when a man has become educated in reference to all of those variables that are related to explaining why he needs to continue to use/abuse pornography to meet certain spiritual, physiological, psychological, social and vocational needs. Likewise, once a comprehensive understanding of those variables has been realized, only then can a male porn abuser begin to embrace and implement constructive methods for realizing healing. Likewise, only then, will he be free to live and love in this world and not be a slave to the sexual lusts associated with this world.

If you’re a male pornography addict, act now in order to begin your journey toward a whole, healthy and free life! It’s never too late! If you’re a young male maybe only eighteen, twenty or twenty-five-years of age, don’t think this book and its educative message doesn’t apply to you! It certainly does, and if you don’t extricate yourself from your pornographic addictive ways now, thirty years will pass by and you will still be a slave to your insatiable love for pornography – forsaking and shipwrecking your love relationships, family, employment and vocational opportunities along the way in galore style! Equally, if your porn addiction continues unabated, one day you’ll wake-up and look at yourself in the mirror and realize the naked truth: you’re a forty-five or fifty-year-old something pervert; and that’s the truth about what you truly are and where you have been!

So, what will today bring: more imprisonment and folly to pornography or a new lease on life? Your current and future health depends on you to make an informed decision to do what’s right and best for you! Therefore, go ahead and have the courage to read about yourself!
