About this ebook
Debra Emerson
With a Masters degree in education and in English, the author has taught reading and writing to children for over three decades. She has also been helping individuals, families, and groups find greater meaning and balance in their lives. This is one of her Acorn Books. Why acorn? Well, she'd tell you about the time she was writing something that felt too big for her, that she wasn't up to it. She was in the middle of a writer's block. So, she picked up her journal and started writing about the writer's block when she realized: Don't try to write. Be like the acorn. It doesn't try to be an oak tree. Relax and let life grow through you. And so the acorn has become a symbol of simply being, of strength, and of peace. She can be contacted at info@debraemerson.com.
