About this ebook
Nana C
Nana C, a Grandmother herself (and Mother of four), apart from the very fulfilling and joyous job of being a Mother, has been involved in Charity Organisations her entire adult life (and for over a decade ran her own Charity to help those in need). She has also worked in the Financial Services Industry helping people and Families realise their dreams of owning their own home. Not surprisingly (from the sentences above) Family and Friendships are at the very centre of who Nana C is as a person and this outlook on life is reflected fully in all of Pink and Pat's stories. Apart from enjoying her retirement Nana C likes to spend her time (aside from writing) travelling, spending time with Family and Friends and working on various artistic projects.

Pink, Pat and Bruce
It was a very hot day, the sun was high in the sky.
Pink and Pat were sitting under the shade of their favourite tree.
Shall we call over to Bruce and see if he wants to go on an adventure.
Yes lets
said Pink so off they went to their friend Bruce.
Bruce was resting in the shade of his favourite tree.
He could hear Pink and Pat at the side gate.
Hi Bruce would you like to go on an adventure with us today?
Oh yes
said Bruce lead the way.
As they walked through the field not too far from their home they could see a lot of birds flying back and forth over the same spot.
"What are they doing? Bruce asked Pink.
I’m not sure but I think someone is in trouble.
As they got close to where the birds were fluttering about they could see a little rabbit.
He had hurt his leg and could not walk.
Every time he tried to stand up he would cry out in pain.
What can we do?
asked Pat? Where are your Mum and Dad?
Bruce told Pink to stay with the little fellow while he and Pat went looking for the rabbits parents.
We can’t find them any where
Bruce picked up the little rabbit in his mouth and carefully carried him over to the river so that the water might cool down his sore leg.
The little rabbit was so delighted to feel the cool water on his sore leg.
Pink Pat and Bruce enjoyed swimming around in the river also.
What are we going to do said Pink we have to head home soon as Jim and Jane will be looking for us.
They knew this because the sun was starting to set and Jim and Jane always got home that time.
Well the way I see it we have two choices we leave the little fellow here and hope that he will be ok or we bring him home with us.
Well we cannot leave him here all night by himself he cannot even walk so we must take him with us, Jim and Jane will know what to do.
They looked at the little rabbit and asked him his name?
My name is Joey said the scared little rabbit.
Well
said Pink You have two choices you stay here all night by yourself or you come with us and we promise to bring you back here in the morning.
The little rabbit look up with tears in his eyes he didn’t want to stay out by himself all night.
His parents will not be looking for him at night they would wait until first light.
I would like to go with you for the night but will you bring me back at first light so my parents can find me.
Bruce had to pick up Joey very carefully in his mouth and the three friends headed for home.
As they arrived at the house Jim and Jane were waiting for them.
Who have you got there Bruce?
said Jim.
Pink and Pat were jumping and barking trying to tell their story.
Jim and Jane are very loving people and took Joey from Bruce.
They looked at the little rabbit and could see his leg was very red and swollen.
Jane put ice Joey’s leg and wrapped it in a white bandage.
