Don’t wait, validate

Pat yourself on the back

Say IM PROUD

Say it loud

Carry it

Protect it

Nourish it

Respect it

You will then see your value

Is worth more than a tiny sparrow

You will hold it you will know it,

And one day you will say

My Hidden Talent

You know what I laugh at?

The fact that I can’t sing

I can’t hit one note

Not one bar

Not one bit of acapella talent in my bones

But I can write

Even been accused of plagiarism

Said I copied it from someone else

My words my thoughts thought to be stolen

No originality

What a compliment

I laugh to myself

I might not sing

But I sure can write

If you know it, believe it

Don’t ask it, believe it

Show it

Tell it

Wear it

Share it

Speak it

Shout it

Don’t doubt it

Be all about it

Make people surround it

Don’t step on it and ground it

Put your name on it as the person who FOUND IT

Don’t dance around it

Take your dreams and expound it

Stay away from the people who drown it

Or the haters that look and frown it

Crown it

It’s yours

Don’t kill it and deceive it

Live it and believe it
