About this ebook

You are cordially invited to read a true love story!

This is the story that my eyes witnessedmy familys trials through darkness, hope, and faith and a vow made until death doeth us part.

This is about the strength and endurance of their wedding vows. Read how my family conquers the inevitable death with love and faith. The stars of this love is William and Dorothy, and their union was September 29, 1943.

Through sickness and health, the wedding vows illuminated togetherness. It bonded two hearts, becoming one devoted loving heart in commitment. In sickness, in health until death doeth us part. Vision how their love, family, devotion, and faith commit their undying love.

As an artist paints a canvas, a wedding ring encircles. Their love never dwindled, the flame glowed, and flickering love remained. Two faithful people devote in harmony as a violinist plays melodic music, seeing two in love. Family and friends hear their music playing.

Memories lasted, faith endured, their strength was stronger, and love prevailed. Until death doeth us part. Love never withered; instead it united their love. A wife stroked her husbands forehead, while he lay in intensive careno response. Dad had suffered a stroke on life support. Read how a mans eyes closed, with the body laying lifeless. Suddenly, his eyes opened wide in response to his loveDorothy. Fingertips of love, she whispered, Bun, I love you. The children love you. We need you.

The nurse witnessed their love as he responded. He must be a man in love! Please continue as they were in lovea couple in love.

Dads body was twisted from a stroke. He rushed to aid and rescue his love, his wife, dear Dorothy. He appeared almost as a man walking on stilts, gliding. His limp arm dangled; his physical prowess faded. Emerging, buffering, softening, he lifted her from harm.

This is a story of protecting two love birds, two doves in love. This story will engage you as you sigh, perhaps cry. Fall in love with a couple, William and Dorothy, my parents. Experience their journey, their vows!

This is about family sickness, pain, love, and death as faith endures and children honoring their parents, giving back the love they feel. This is about a couples union and their children, grandchildren, son-in-law, brothers, cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends.

Remember the artists canvas, wedding rings, vows, and violins play as the wedding rings bond their love.

Mr. and Mrs. William Stoness love is exclusive.

Thank you for reading Faith Vow Love Commitment: My Dove, My Mother. Life soars if we believe in spite of obstacles. A mothers love is in our hearts and remains as memories that last. I am an expressive creator and writer. I have two siblingsmy sister Cheryl (who is married to a wonderful husband, James Everett) and my brother Willie Ray. I am an aunt to Damon Stone and precious Angel Cherlynn. My favorite uncle is Uncle Charles. Us siblings shared three earthly heroes of love. Mama, our grandmother and my namesake, had rosy cheeks. She was a sage Christian woman standing six feet tall. I have memories of her lipstick and her perfume in the air. My mother is a virtuous, kind woman known for her unyielding love of God, family, and others, and her one-size-fits-all hugs. Daddy was a wonderful man, protector, provider, gatekeeper, usher, and man of faith; he was witty too. His last words were the Lords Prayer. My daddy was reciting Matthew 6:913 as he took his last breath in my arms. My favorite books are The Giving Tree, the Bible, and What a Wonderful World. Browrdy, Stone, Brown, Garrett, Greene, Harrison, Henderson, Skeens, Mom Elsie, Mama Mae, Moms Carson, D.W., N.P., Aunt J, V.S., Mom C., and W.S. Inspire. Love always and forever. Forgive. A Note

Dorothy Harlin and William Stone’s life stories were written May 19, 1922, and February 26, 1924, their births. Dorothy was awarded numerous Customer Service Awards at work. The following scriptures represent them: 1 Corinthians 15:10 for Dorothy and Matthew 25:21 for William.

Dorothy taught Sunday school, and William was a doorkeeper and senior usher and was awarded the twenty-year service plaque.

Dorothy’s life was a constant, never-ending reminder for her family, friends, and others. Memories of Dorothy’s compassion, her love, her willingness to give, her angelic twinkle, her smile.

On March 26, 1999, Dorothy ascended to heaven. What a wonderful time to ascend, for Christ rose on Easter to ascend to our Father in heaven. Christ bore the cross for all to have life. No cross, no crown.

Our family physician wrote a letter that best summed up Dorothy’s life. He stated how Dorothy never entered his office without first asking how he and his family were doing. Thank you, Dr. AC and Dr. SJH.

William suffered as he lay in bed, no longer able to eat, sip a drink, or walk. Not once did I see William cry, but I remember William saying, I am a child of God.

    Thanks for touching lives.

Until death do us part. Genesis 2:18.

    United in vow.
