About this ebook
Susan M Wadkins
I grew up with little love; I just kept trying to commit suicide, not knowing I couldnt enter the kingdom above. It seemed no matter how hard my mom tried, we kept going down. I just wanted to die. Several males touched me when I didnt want to be; certain relatives loved torturing me.

CHAPTER 1
43989.pngI had lived in Colorado all my life,
so when my mom and dad said
were moving,
all I could think about
is all my friends,
I’d be losing.
We packed the stuff we needed,
in our car,
I wanted to stay here in Colorado,
daddy please can we just go back?
No we have come too far.
He said
My mother and father felt,
our dad being a trucker,
was the best thing to do,
"when daddy is in town,
He’ll be able to see you." Said mom
We finally reached Springfield Illinois,
and visited our family,
like aunt Annabelle,
for she always had open arms,
of love;
For my brothers and me.
My parents found a house,
for us to live in,
my mother found a job,
and even a babysitter,
Who was next of kin.
When Monday rolled around,
back to the babysitter,
he would play strange games,
with my siblings and I;
He was a real kidder.
Oh how I loved my father and mother,
so when us kids heard them arguing,
and fighting,
We would all cuddle together.
We didn’t understand,
how somebody who say’s,
they love you
could come home,
after weeks on the road;
Just to abuse you.
My father told my older sibling,
"If you don’t quit soiling in your diaper,
You’re going to get a whipping."
My family member didn’t make it,
to the bathroom in time,
so my father removed it,
and rubbed it in his face;
Leaving him crying.
My mother had nobody,
to turn to,
to escape from the abuse,
she would cry as she said to us,
I don’t know what to do.
My mother never told us,
what her and dad fought about,
daddy came home drunk,
taking mom into their bedroom;
And begin to shout.
When daddy didn’t go to the bars,
and drink,
he would come home,
hugging us all,
For he took time to think.
Every work day,
feeling of fear was in my heart,
for these strange games,
my relative made us play,
Was getting ready to start.
He told my siblings and I,
"this is what were going to do
I’m taking your sister,
in the bedroom with me,
And this is what you will do.
You boys will hang,
from these door ledges,
if you interrupt me,
because of falling,
I will be very angry,
and you may just push me;
Over the edge."
I was taken into his bedroom,
and he tells me,
warning us, "If tell you about this,
I’ll kill you; just wait and see."
He would pick me up,
and throw me onto his bed,
taking my clothes off,
then off came his clothes,
yelling at me;
Now give me head.
He laid there comfortably,
urinating my mouth,
yelling at me;
Swallow it you little wh-re.
My cousin would hear,
a kid drop to the floor,
the cousin say’s, "fine you like pain
I’ll give you some more."
The cousin laid flat on his back,
his legs spread apart,
he tells my family member,
stand between my legs.
then bangs them together,
inflicting pain while having to watch,
Just broke my heart.
My cousin did this every weekday,
for three years,
because he felt the thrill of power,
from doing it,
while my two brothers,
And I shed tears.
The Monster
You have this adult relative,
who baby-sits you every day,
hanging you and your siblings,
on door frames,
He tells you if you fall you will pay.
Your fingers are getting sore,
and turning red,
he takes the little girl,
into his bedroom;
And makes her give him head.
He makes the little girl,
give him oral sex,
while urinating,
he yell’s swallow it,
one of the siblings,
would fall from the ledge,
The little girl is praying he’ll quit.
The cousin gets mad at your siblings,
for falling,
then makes the sibling,
stand between his legs,
the cousin bangs them together;
For interrupting his fun by calling.
He hangs your family member,
back on the door ledge,
tells the boy,
"if you fall again you’ll make me mad
You may even push me over the edge."
My fathers boss said,
"I’m moving the business to Colorado,
if you want to continue working for me,
That’s where you’ll have to go."
Once again everything is getting left behind,
except neccessities, but I was still happy
for I was escaping from the monster;
Who was so unkind.
My parents traveled day and night,
only stopping to get gas, food and ice,
so we all had something to eat and drink,
Which was nice.
During the daytime,
when us kids could see,
we would play this paper game,
Called hangman; to keep us busy.
We had to watch our spending,
while traveling back to Colorado,
so my parents would have money,
to rent a house,
And not get stuck with nowhere to go.
My mother and father took turns,
sitting behind the wheel,
for my father had to be in Colorado,
the following week;
For that was the deal.
I was getting tired
I needed to go to sleep,
my father was driving,
so I asked him to wake me up,
when I can see the mountains,
When he did; all I felt was relief.
As soon as I could see,
we was in Colorado,
I knew,
We didn’t have much farther to go.
My father and mother found a home,
for us to live in,
and us six kids,
Were able to go to the same school again.
A few day’s after arriving in Colorado,
my fathers boss told him,
"I
