    INTRODUCTION

    Most of us have some regrets or at least things we would do differently if we could go back in time bringing with us all the wisdom we had garnered over our years. That dear reader, is from where the idea for unconscious arose.

    Imagine your 53 year old self. Not quite sure what was happening but somehow aware you could relive and re-appreciate events of your earlier life; and that you could make a difference . . . you could undo regrets and change outcomes.

    From this fictional journey there are some real life lessons to be considered such as:

    • no longer letting the past define you,

    • self-forgiveness,

    • treat each day and relationship with the attention it deserves,

    • choose happiness—stopping to smell the roses

    I hope, dear readers you enjoy and maybe even substitute Brierly’s memories and life lessons for your own.
