Weight gain relates to an increase in body weight or size. This may be due to stages of growth during childhood and adolescents, an increase in muscle mass due to workouts and physical activities, fat deposits or excess fluids.

Weight gain can also indicate or present symptoms of a serious medical condition or side effects of prescription medication and should be discussed with your physician.

Inside every fat person there is a slim body waiting to emerge.

    Chapter 1

    SUDDEN WEIGHT GAIN

Sudden weight gain is defined as gaining three or more pounds in one week. The most common reasons for excess weight gain are either eating too much food or exercising too little. Of course, this is not always the case, there are other conditions that can either temporary or is it on contribute to weight gain or to slowly add on the pounds.

People come in all sizes and shapes and some are disposed to gaining more weight than others, some are genetically pre-programmed to be heavier and larger in size. Genetics are responsible for up to 60% of body size and weight - a larger frame or an endomorphic body type which translates into a fuller, rounder figure.

Another reason can be a slower metabolism
